Late round keeper rule (1 Viewer)

Our league we have a late round keeper option. Anyone you draft in the 20th round or later, you can keep for one year and only lose that spot in the draft. (if you keep them on your roster all year long)

This season I got to keep Carpenter with a 20th round pick from last year...the year before it was Granderson.

This year I drafted both Asdrubal Cabrera and Mat Gamel in the late rounds.

We have a roster rule this year where we are not allowed any adds/drops after the games start today.

Im contemplating which one of these guys to keep already to see if I do want to drop Gamel to pick up some depth for the playoff run. (Im currently the top team in the league).

Who would you rather have for next year...Gamel or Cabrera?

I will be keeping Cabrera - though I do not own Gamel.... still, for next year I like the former.

Went with Cabrera....am a Brewers homer...but will be nice to start out with a solid SS and only give up a 22nd round pick. (20 game eligibility and thankfully he got 20 at SS this year as I have Kinsler as one of my regular keepers.
