Laurent Robinson (1 Viewer)

I'm still the only person on the planet that likes Keenan Burton.
Probably so. I wouldn't waste a spot on him in even the largest of dynasty leagues.
So you wouldn't waste a spot on a guy who was competing for the no.2 WR spot, now the no.1 WR spot in a race that he is most definitely in. People here are so short sighted. Ok he has had a rough first few years in the league. He sure as hell wouldn't be the first guy to have a few rough years and then put it together.
Keenan Burton? Really?is he even a Ram anymore? I don't call it short sighted. I call it seeing an injury prone fringe NFL WR talent with bad knees that can't get open that'll be lucky to hang in the league. His career is closer to over than hitting a starting lineup.

With Donnie Avery all but done... my bet is on robinson to take charge of the wr corps. if the guys stays healthy i think he could put up wr 2-3 numbers....anybody with me or am i crazy?
I don'think you're crazy.4th season, last 2 mostly injured, but in his 1st year and in what he had of the other two he's had good numbers especially considering the QB's he's dealth with (Harrington, Redman, Bulger). The guy started 2 games last year, had 5 & 6 catches (and that was with Avery playing). 2007 wk. 15 for ATL vs ARI he went 7/114/1. Definitely worth a chance as a WR4-5 WW flyer who could rise to a WR3 or WR2, no?

I picked up Robinson to be a WR4/5 in the 13th round of a 12-teamer. I see nothing but upside with this pick as long as he stays healthy. Last years injury was kind of freakish if you ask me and not truly indicative of an "injury prone" history. I'll decide week 4 if he is worthy of starting on my team as a WR3 because that's the first time I might need him.

If he has a pretty solid week 1 outing, something like 5-6 receptions for 75 yards and a TD, he will be a waiver wire gem in many, many leagues.

although Robinson just got a td im pretty worried about mark clayton stealing his targets already. I didnt see this coming...

The Balt pre-season game I watched...Clayton looked really good. Good enough that I had him on my contest team until he got moved to STL.

I didn't think Clayton would be integrated this fast, but still, he won't help a bunch. The Rams need to get Amendola more involved, IMO. He might be their best WR, but I'm not the coach, so we'll see what happens. They finally started going to him in the 2nd quarter.

My boy Hoomanawanui caught a nice pass in their first series to keep a drive alive, but twisted his ankle & hasn't returned (that I've seen). Hoo may have even started, not sure. I'll have to check when the game is over. There was some discussion in another thread, but I believe Hoo is underrated & could be an important part of their offense. He's one of those TEs a young QB could lean on. Great hands & decent athleticism.

Heavily invested in Robinson and very concerned
In a couple of redrafts, I had a chance to get Robinson, but passed on him in favor of Amendola (while both were still on the board). Like I said in another thread, the Rams aren't going to listen to me, LOL, but Amendola can play. He should be starting, IMO. I get that he's more suited for the slot, but Amendola is simply one of their two best WRs & should be on the field every play. When Hoomanawanui comes back, Clayton's targets will likely decrease. While not too much more than a hunch right now, Hoo could play an important role in their offense. Unfortunatley, he twisted his ankle after catching a 1st down in the first series, so we'll have to see how long he'll be out.
