Will Witherspoon LB rams (he will be MLB)

Lb D Ryans started camp behind Cowart but is now the starter at MLB. Will probably be on the field on every snap. Behaves like a vet in camp, shows football smarts and impresses coaches. In the first preseason game he got 4-2 in the first half, but in the 2nd game vs Rams he got pushed around quite a bit and only had one tackle in the first half.

Lbs Darryl Blackstock and Colby Bockwoldt are a couple deep sleepers in deep leagues.

And maybe Brodney Pool. The fact that Sean Jones is supposedly doing better but still cant really beat Pool out has to say somthing about Pool's talent.

Daniel Bullocks for sure.

Barret Ruud should see more PT and if anything happened to 900 year old Quarles, I think he's a lock.

Bullocks is starting FS. They moved Harper to SS from what I heard behind Omar.Saints Depth Chart

Detroit Lions rookie safety Daniel Bullocks has been getting more repititions with the first-team defense in practice and appears to be putting some distance between himself and incumbent starter Terrance Holt in the competition for the starting free safety spot. As preseason week 3 games are having the defensive starters playing longer we are now starting to see what kind of numbers some of these players are capable of.

FS/SS Chris Harris Bears. Looks to be a good one to have. Even more so if Brown has lingering issues with achiles injury.

MLB Gerald Hayes Arizona. Looks like he will be making a lot of tackles possibly better than Darling of past few years now that he is healthy.

Shaun Cody now playing DE Lions posted 2 sacks. Could see some time at UT still??

Brandon Short ROLB Giants. Not sure if he has won the start for the Giants there or not.

Mark Simoneau ROLB Eagles. Could return to 2003 form?

Matt Roth DE Miami. Playing opposite Jason Taylor.

Chris Gamble/Ken Lucas pick your poision. Look like some solid Cb numbers will come from these 2 in Carolinas high pressure defense.

The NFL.com/MFL designations at DE and DT are very poor. Many 3-4 DE (Castillo, Roye, McKinley) are listed as DTs and there are a couple of DTs (Vonnie Holliday and Cody).We're manually changing many of these players in a startup DT/DE specific league this season.

I like Cody as UT next to Rogers. He should be single blocked much of the time as long as Rogers is playing.I do believe Cody was/is considered a bit of a tweener who can play DE or DT.
