Does anyone have any information regarding Michael Boley and the MLB position in New York? I have scoured over all kinds of reports, rankings, and the forums, and i dont see anything regarding him or the position.
Does the Linebacking Corps for the NyG have any good IDP value? Is Boley still the MLB and will he play in 3rd down packages?
Any help/assistance is appreciated. would love to here from jenel as well.
btw..thanks for the roundtable podcasts! looking forward to more!

boley is the WLB, and i think was in sub-packages last year and wouldn't expect anything different...a great tool on our site is the depth chart link... typically at other sites this is outdated quickly... bob henry is imo the best in the business, and must be updating these countless times during the frenzy...
it currently says goff MLB (reprising role last year) and sintim at SLB...
another handy tool is not just google, which if you punched in boley might yield initial links like his player profile pages, but to hit the sub category news on google... that yielded an immediate link that thay may have moved kiwanuka back to SLB (again), which would bump sintim (who has generally underwhelmed)...
if osi is definitely staying/playing (currently has an "injury"), this makes sense, as they already have tuck and JPP... if he is moved or a malcontent, though, i could see kiwanuka goes back to DE to be used in rotation and situationally (maybe a starting DE slides inside on passing downs, former DC spagnuolo popularized the all ((or near)) DE DL during super bowl season)...
but of course they can rush him from LB, and he can line up wherever he wants even if he is nominally labelled a LB within scheme... but at LB, when actually deployed as a LB, he also plays at a different depth, run responsibility different... kiwanuka is an unusual athlete... i appreciate that giants are creative in getting best players on field (than again, maybe they could just draft a better SLB than sintim

)...
