Lee Evans (1 Viewer)

Lee Evans is going to win fantasy championships for the owners that stuck it out!

That kind of talent doesn't just vanish, he's still got it and somehow the Bills will get him the ball. Even if they have to start with a couple of reverses or something. Just do something to get the ball in his hands and he'll begin to become the reliable threat on offense once again.

Evans is a F**KING BUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!absolutely usless!!!no way he turns his season around. He is a girl out there. no separation, no QB, tough schedule, bad team, bad offense, too small, never targeted, and doesn't seem to care. he is the 6th, yes the 6th freagin option on that team after lynch, parrish, reed and the 2, yea the 2 TE's.he will end up with, after 17 games:30 catches for 400 yds and 2 TD's.i didn't own him last year... so i never saw him play....i mean not one game. his stats the last 3 yrs are very impressive and w/ his 3rd season being last year, i thought this guy was going to elite status in 07. the team has been subpar the last 3 years so i didn't think it would be a problem. I am in a keeper league and traded from him in the off season for Henry and a 2nd round pick. (have FWP and Addai) WOW, eye opener!cheers.
The "bad start", "no QB" factors are not much different than the previous 3 years. And to the guy that said Pittsburgh was "all over Losman all day" - what game were you watching? If that were true Losman would probably be playing this week, but he made zero plays w/ surprisingly decent protection in that game.

Evans is finally off my team. So you can all rest assured he will have 184 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The news of Trent Edwards staying the starter was the last straw. Sorry Lee, maybe I'll draft you next season.

I dropped him two weeks ago (though he is still on the waiver wire) and I feel like I held on to him for too long.If you are right, you are one heck of a prophet, cause right now even The Scientist has given in that the guy is not someone you can have confidence in.

I'm starting him again because I'm stubborn (and maybe stupid) and can afford to take the chance.
Me too; and I figure I have fallen in the hole with him and either he pulls me out of the hole or I sink in and get buried. Trading him for crap or benching him and missing his eventual thirty point game is not the way to go.

I have to start him again this week. With Braylon on a bye and the Javon Walker injury, I'm down to Lee Evans as my only viable starting option for my last WR slot. So, if he stinks, I won't be kicking myself because I had no choice, but I'll be ecstatic if he does well.

One thing in his favor is that the Ravens have not been good in pass defense and Chris McAllister is probably out. Combine that with Samari Rolle, whose new nickname is "Toast," and thinks don't look too bleak in terms of the matchup.

So, Lee's got that going for him, which is nice...

I whole heartedly disagree here. One 30 point game is not worth it for me to keep a guy. I admire your persistence, however.

Persistence, stubborness, stupidness....whatever it is, I got it along with my man Lee Evans!

i just traded away Lee Evans for Ronald Curry. and theres already 2 teams that protested the trade. only takes 3 more teams to protest it for it to get vetoed

You seem to have my WRs. Plus LT is out, so he'll be my flex for sure.

I just dropped Jennings to pick up Evans

I just have the luxury to do that.

I'm 5-1 and would like to plug him in next week(8) @ Jets.

If Trent Edwards has a rough time vs. Ravens this week, maybe Evans's boy JP will go @ Jets week 8.

If Trent has a good game, maybe it's w/Evan connections.

Bigs 'ifs', but I can roll the dice only dropping Jennings.

If Evans 'busts' for me, Henry(CIN) is right around the corner, sitting on waivers for another roll of the dice.

Sounds like a pretty lame league to me where a trade like that would be vetoed. Unless a trade is obviously collusive which this one is the farthest thing from then they should never be vetoed or overturned. My :blackdot:

Lewis one of several banged-up Ravens stars

Associated Press

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis has an injured knee and is one of several key players who could miss Sunday's game against Buffalo.

Maybe less pressure on Trent this week.(Just looking for a little something that can help Evans get off the ground)

Ray Lewis doesn't have much to do with Baltimore putting pressure on the QB.

Its ridiculous, cuz one team that protested i'm playing against this week and we are both 4-2 tied for leading our divisions, and my only other WR option is Terrell Owens. The other guy is a raider fan that has been trying to get Curry but doesnt seem to offer the right players. The leagues not lame, thers just a couple of lame people, which most leagues usually has that "one guy"

Forced to start Lee in 2 leagues.

If he (ever) puts together a good game I'm going to try like hell and trade him.

Dead on :excited:

Glad I've stuck by him. This was exactly the reason I drafted him. Losman cannon, Evans break away speed.

I stuck with him because I knew this game would come; and now after two good weeks in a row I think the doldrums are over and the good times are ready to roll.

I traded for him cheap weeks ago and sat him waiting to see if he was going to come on. I came so close to benching him again this week but decided that if I wasn't going to start him during this 3 game stretch (Jets, Bengals, Dolphins) then why the heck did I trade for him in the first place? So in he went to my starting lineup and he put up 30+ for me (PPR plus bonus for long TDs) and was reason I won this week. :deadhorse:

Wow I just saw the TD pass. Losman just lobbed it 50 yards down the field into double coverage and Evans wrestled it away from both defenders and shrugged them to the ground then coasted in. It was actually a pretty awful pass. Usually when these two hookup on a deep pass it's a thing of beauty.

So I wasn't imagining that? OK, I thought I watched a different play than everyone else.
