Lee Suggs physical results (1 Viewer)

Sorry if this is a honda, but does anybody know why Lee Suggs failed his physical with the Jets? The Mangina has been typically tightlipped about the results.

I heard it was concerns with his surgically repaired knee.
The Jets do not have to release why Suggs failed their physical, but I'm hearing that's their excuse too. The knee surgery was done way back in his College playing days and he's not had a problem with it since.Speculation I'm hearing is that it was buyers remorse. Started second guessing themselves with the trade for Suggs thinking they could do better.

It was some cronic condition he has with his back or spine. I forget the name of it. This is what I heard.

This was at first, since, I've heard knee also.

The next team that trades with the Jets will have to add a special section in the agreement stating "No take backs."I understand the Jets do not have to make public the reasons, which is good, but there must have been some legit reason. Puposely failing someone's physical for "buyers remorse" seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Lee Suggs failed his physical with the Jets because he has cervical spinal stenosis.

The condition, which Musa Smith of Baltimore also has, likely caused Suggs to fall to the fourth round in 2003 and may cause some of his injuries. Suggs has participated in all of training camp, and could now get cut by Cleveland.

I am surprised that the Jets sent him back because of this condition. They had to know about it before they traded for him, as everyone in the fantasy world has known about it. Suggs has also played with this condition, as have other players on the college and pro level.

So, the Jets didn't know about this? Is it possible they just got cold feet?

It could be that they knew about it but were unaware of the magnitude of the issue. Of course, it's always possible they got cold feet. :)

Maybe they got a better offer at the eleventh hour and used the stenosis as an out.
