Lendale White and the upcoming weeks.... (1 Viewer)

Statline from today:

White: 8/22 with one catch for 3 yards

Brown: 6/9 with one catch for 0 yards

Henry: Did not play injured?

So what happens in the upcoming weeks? Did Jeff talk about it after the game at all?

White may very well be the lesser of three evils, but it's hard to see much hope for any of TEN's RBs. A terrible team with a RBBC is not exactly a recipe for huge numbers.

No but with bye weeks upcoming some of us might have to look towards these types of options.

TEN is bad but the schedule makes things even worse. @MIA, DAL, @IND, @WAS before the bye. Brutal. Coming our of the bye, they get HOU at home. I guess I'd target that as Lendale's 'coming out' party.

Interesting note for VERY deep leagues, just something to keep an eye for now

Titans signed RB Quinton Ganther to the active roster.

What is Chris Browns story? I remember injuries being his only setback, a very productive back when healthy. Has he thrown in the towel or is the blocking absolutley horrendous or TEN doesn't care because he is gone after this season?

It seems to me that if Tennessee can't get through that gauntlet with at least one or two wins then they may call their season a bust and put in VY and Lendale since they are the future. Young may struggle, but I think Lendale may turn out to be a decent RB2 or RB3 in the second half.

I still can't believe they think Kerry Collins is a better option than Billy Volek. Did they find out Volek's gay or something? This team would be twice as good with Volek under center... which still wouldn't be very good but still.

4 INTs and 40% completion through 2 games. That's a winner right there.

The Titans coaches should be embarrassed. Everyone is bagging on the Raiders, but Tennessee is no better. Not that they were expected to be very good, but they are considerably worse than last year at this point IMO. They are going backwards. The Volek/Collins fiasco is testament to the ineptness of the Titan's management.

:goodposting: There has to be something else going on about the Volek situation that has been released. Maybe we will get the real story once Volek is traded.

I'm starting to think Fisher isn't that great of a coach - they're really mishandling things right now. The whole oscillation between Collins and Young yesterday was pathetic.

Back to White, he did look pretty good in the rare chances he got yesterday (granted some of them came against the Chargers' second unit) though the stats don't show it. He looked like he was in good shape too, much more trim than ever he was at USC even. I think he'll have the starting job at some point this year if he can keep his head in the game, which so far has been a big if.
