I just dropped Chris Brown. Fatdale is getting the goal line carries making Brown useless in 10-12 team leagues with limited roster spots.

I think that's a little misleading. White has 8 carries to Browns 2 on rushing attempts from 5 yards or closer but Brown has more attempts than White from 6-10 yards out. So it's not as if the when the Titans reach the red zone it's automatically White and Browns going to get his share of TD's from the 6-10 yard range.I own them both in the only league I own any of them and wish this was not the case but they split carries inside the red zone just like they do the rest of the game but it does appear if the ball is on the 1 or 2 White is going to get the majority of the looks.

In a keeper league I would not carry CBrown unless I thought he was going to be around next year. What real value is it in keeping both if the roster spots are limited. You would never play both unless the situation was dire. I think carrying the one with the highest upside is the way to go personally. Roster spots are too valuable to carry a handcuff that does not have a great upside (i.e. future starter (Turner) for another team or strong insurance if injury occurs). I don't get carrying a handcuff just for the sake of it IF a better player is available. So I would not carry Buckhalter in lieu of a DBowe for example. But that's just my opinion.

Chris Brown would get the lion's share of carries if Lendale went down and vice versa, isn't that strong insurance? I don't think anyone would have any problems with someone keeping Chris Henry the RB on a roster on a keeper league either. Handcuffs can work to a huge advantage in keeper leagues in more ways than one, and your LT-Burner example is a prime case. In a keeper league, if an owner had the foresight to draft LT and the Burner a few years ago, that owner is looking pretty in 2008 with two top notch starting RBs in all likelihood. Anyone who handcuffed Romo to Drew Bledsoe in 2005/6 is looking pretty good right now too. There are tons of examples - Kurt Warner/Marc Bulger, Jamal Lewis/Priest Holmes, Julius Jones/MBIII, etc. where handcuffing is a tremendous strategy, especially in keeper leagues, so I wouldn't be so quick to discount it.
