Let's Talk Penn State Football (2 Viewers)

Heck of a game, and heck of a season.

If any of you get a chance to go to a Rose Bowl, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.  This was my 2nd one and although it was a disappointing ending to the game it was an awesome experience overall.  A personal highlight for me was getting to (briefly) meet Ronnie Lott.

Watching PSU show up biggly in the Rose Bowl and give us with SC probably the best bowl game this year, makes me even madder about them getting jobbed by the committee.

That said, watching tosu getting crushed wasn't bad.

That's THE 0SU to you. Change the O to zero.

That was one gut wrenching loss to watch.  Got way too conservative.  But give props to USC, their QB might be the No. 1 overall pick very soon.

As I've skimmed over the posts one thing is for certain, this class is going to do great things.  Getting healthy and experienced OL back, just about everyone back on D and O.  Then there is Barkley and McSorley.  This team is going to snap some necks and cash some checks.

:goodposting: Next year was supposed to be the year, but darn if 2016 didn't look real good even if it didn't end well.

If I were 0SU, I wouldn't count our game as an automatic win like they have been. Same for Michigan.

I don't think OSU is counting on PSU as an automatic win after losing the game in 2016.

Good luck, Sickels & Godwin.  Thanks for helping get the program headed in the right direction again.
Yep.  For some reason, I thought Godwin would stay.  Maybe for a shot at the National Championship.  As it is, good luck to both of them!

Blue leads 13-0 after Tommy Stevens found Andre Robinson for a 9-yard TD pass. 36  seconds left in the third quarter. #PSUBlueWhite

Tommy Stevens to Brandon Polk for a 31-yard TD pass. Team Blue leads 20-0 with 6:57 left in the fourth quarter. #PSUBlueWhite

Per Audrey Snyder:

Franklin said PSU will get their Big Ten title rings after this: "Once they get the rings and walk out of the building we're onto 2017."

He played, but seemed off, maybe doesn't have timing down with new receivers yet.
I think that was the problem.  He did not look that great to me but at the same time it's just the Blue-White game.  He'll be fine.

My thoughts:

Backup TE behind Gelsiki looked awesome.

Robinson and Mark Allen looked good.  Nice to have great RB depth.

Not sure what to think of the starting OL.  McGovern should be fine at center.  If they can run block well look out.

If Trace leaves after this season we are in very good hands with Tommy Stevens.

I can't wait until #26 is back on the field for Akron.
