LHUCKS' 2006 QB Rankings (1 Viewer)

in my 10 team league, we play one QB. (25 rounds includes IDP)

Delhomme went in the third round.

Warner went in the 4th round. (i was stunned)

I took Bulger in the 8th and Plummer in the 13th. And Leftwich in the 20th.

After watching the Rams and Broncos run around and not score points all day like they were playing soccer, I think I may have made a serious tactical error. However...I have never been one to push the panic buttons after one week.

Grabbing QBs late is always hit or miss, this year will be no different. If you targeted Jake late, you missed. Either wise up to your mistake early and move for another QB now, or continue to run Jake out there and watch him ruin your season.
I'm praying to mythological figures that Phil Rivers will be a pleasant surprise. :bag:

I don't understand where all the Plummer love is coming from. I like Javon Walker as much as the next guy, but Denver's always been a run first team, and Walker is coming off of a serious knee injury. After Walker and Smith (who is falling off), there is nothing, including TE.Perhaps I'm missing something, but I think Denver's receiving corps is worse this year and Plummer wasn't a fantasy starter last year.
:goodposting:
One week, and Den played poorly last year in their 1st game on the road. Plummer very well could be a great play this year.
Big difference b/w last year and this year. This egg from Plummer comes on the heels of his AFC Championship debacle, and at this time last year, Denver didn't have a better QB on the roster (Cutler > Plummer, right now).Another 4 TO performance from Jake, and it's going to be awfully tough to keep Cutler on the bench. I imagine the Denver press is going to be all over this situation this week.
So Cutler > Plummer now? :lmao:I almost wish Shanahan puts Cutler in for a week just so we can end this madness before everyone starts deluding themselves further.

Bulger will be fine, Denver has, in my opinion, a top two pass defense in the league. Their 3rd DB Foxworth, could be a starter. They will confound many passers with their two sophmore d-backs behind Bailey.

I think in this situation Plummer is extremely close to losing his teammates confidence, if he hasn't already. At some point, it's productive to turn the reigns over to the unknown when the known is a proven failure, even when the unknown is green and inexperienced.Cutler clearly has superior physical talent - the only reason to continue starting Jake is b/c of his experience and ability to limit his mistakes. If Plummer is going to be turning the ball over 2-4 times a game, what is he bringing to the table that Cutler lacks?

well if you drafted Jake late you should have teamed him up with Bledsoe or Warner...per my instructions.Calling Jake a bust this early is premature...as a matter of fact I may go try to get him on the cheap this week if he's getting the "bust" label already. For what it's worth I took the Warner/Leftwich combo in the FBG subscriber contest.

Bledsoe's stiffer than Ron Jeremy on a bottle full of Viagra.
Any QB that played a top defense in week one is a solid buy low candidate: Bledsoe/Simms/Favre etc. etc.
Check his game logs for the last three years and you'll see a QB that is inconsistent and whose numbers typically trail off drastically toward the last 1/4 of the season.

Check every QB that has played with TO for a full season the last four years...top 5 fantasy QBs...all of them.Bledsoe > Garcia

1. TO didn't play for teams whose QBs were playing behind lines as bad as Dallas'.2. TO hasn't played a full season in the last four years.

IIRC Foxworthy was owned by the steelers in the AFC championship game last year.
