LIVE DRAFT ideas - what have you done? (1 Viewer)

Wondering what some of you have done at your live drafts to make them extra special. Looking for new ideas for this year.

Here's what I've done.

1. Beer - lots of beer. (although my suggestion is to take it slow - at least through the 1st 8 rounds - let your competition drink it up - maybe they'll draft Fred Taylor or if they really are slamming then down....Eddie George).

2. Spy - in the weeks leading up the draft start chatting up the guys you know will be there. Try and pick up information about what they are thinking. How they evalute players.

3. Name Tags - (for mature audiences only) - have each team write a name on a name tag - but it in a hat - everyone draws a name - you have to wear that name tag the rest of the day and eveyone has to call you than name. IF someone calls you by the incorrect name they've gotta put some $$ in a bucket. whatever cash is in there at the end of the day either goes to goose the prize pool or pay for the pizza/beer.

I've actually hired a stripper to deal poker. Have you hired a draft board girl? I bet they're hella expensive. And what you doing with a draft board anyhow? How about having a nude girl input names into the computer for the draft board that's being projected onto the wall.

Used a draft board once about 8 years ago, CBS gives them free. The leagues are dynasty now and the draft is short. But I do get 2 stripper for the after the year party. Got Carly Parker 2 years ago, google her.

I like that nametag idea...

I think half of the pot that it builds should go to the owner that drafts either a)Ricky Williams or b) another owner's alias (by the name on their tag). That would make those last couple rounds a bit more interesting. And it would be fun later when the officially cut them.
