This is sad. Nobody wins. If true, wouldn't this be akin to doing the terrorists work. Since extremists see moderates as infidels as well?
A 4 year old would ask what does "gee" mean. It means attacks on England are growing and we are starting to get use to it. The terrorists are winning. Why is that? Why is this happening? I'm clueless. Please tell me.
It was a terrorist attack.... so yes it's doing terrorist work, because terrorists did it.
One thing I can think of is because they undermined their own sovereignty by allowing sharia law to operate within their borders.
True. It's a terrorist attack regardless of who perpetrates the act. But, it looks like this was a strike against Muslims in retaliation for the London Bridge attack. However, the people that were killed tonight are not extremists. It's throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I used to think that but not anymore. Men would just find something else to fight and kill over.
A man will kill someone for almost any reason. We have experienced thousands of years of war and most had nothing to do with religion.
Now some reports saying this was a mosque used in past for recruiting extremists in the past and was also home of the notorious one eyed cleric. If so this all is beginning to add up.
It would certainly be the first and likely largest step towards eliminating war. Many of the largest in history were directly religiously influenced. It is the prime breeding ground for ignorance that leads to other causes of war.
Sure seems like an anti-muslim attack but they are being very cautious labelling it as such.

WW1, WW2, American Civil War, Korean War, Vietnam War, Spanish Civil War, Boer Wars, Russo-Japanese War, etc. Men have done a fine job finding non religious reasons to kill each other over the last 150 years.
Those are within the last 100 years. I think we should take in to account technology,and inexperience with it, when measuring the loss of life in those conflicts. Now we have apparently reached an equilibrium where we are living in the most peaceful times in regards to war. The only apparent threat to that level of peace, at the moment, is religious conflict.
Religion has rarely been the major cause of wars throughout history. Most wars were for territorial conquest, to secure borders and trade routes, or political control. The same threats to peace exist today in many parts of the world. Money, land, influence, power. All of these idiots that keep driving vehicles into crowds have none of those things and they never will.
People who think like you do are one of the major reasons why we can't come together in this country. Yes, of course, liberals love it when white guys commit crimes like this so the attention is off of Muslims for a moment. We just can't wait to destroy western culture in favor of Sharia law. So stupid it's almost difficult to believe, but then you post again just reaffirming it all.
