Longshot RB3 Option In PPR Leagues This Week (1 Viewer)

This isn't a prediction aimed at giving you 100 yards rushing and a huge day out of a RB this week, but if you're in a PPR league and you need to start 3 RBs for whatever reason I think Booker is someone to strongly consider. His role has clearly grown in recent weeks and he's caught 6 passes in each of the past three games, having at least 60 yards receiving in two of those games. He isn't doing anything running the ball (under 20 yards rushing in every game in that span) though his carries have increased from 1 to 4 and to 8 last week. The possible return of Chatman this week likely means he won't contribute much of anything in the running game and even if Chatman sits there's no reason to think any Dolphin RB will fare all that well on the ground against the Patriots. But this is likely a game which will see the Dolphins have to throw a lot and Booker has become a huge option in the passing game. In the last three weeks only Brian Westbrook and Earnest Graham have had more targets in the passing game than Booker's 23.

Again, I'm not saying that he's going to go off and put up huge numbers. But if you're stuck for a RB3 this week in PPR leagues I think Booker is someone who can give you solid production at the very least.

Good point, but I think you meant in each of the last three games. In a PPR league, he's definitely worth a gamble.
