Looking back at a pre-combine Top 50 big board (1 Viewer)

I printed out a top rookie prospect list back in January. It’s pretty interesting looking at how the players ranked based on their college performance only. You’ll notice many players whose stocks have fell due to bad evaluations after the combine and pro days.

( ***Keep in mind that many of the Juniors have yet to declare by the time this list was published…those juniors includes Run DMC, Gholston, Jonathan Stewart, Reshard Mendenhall, Ryan Clady, DeSean Jackson, Aquib Talib, Derrick Harvey, Ray Rice, Brandon Albert, Philip Merling, Devin Thomas, James Hardy, Malcom Kelly, Felix Jones, Kevin Smith etc…***)

If the juniors didn't declare, this would have been an ugly RB Class.

Interesting there is no Gholston on that list. I know he had a fast rise leading up to the draft, but in three months to go from not listed to #6 overall is quite a leap.

Also I see at #15 Adarius Brown (WR) was not drafted. I can't remember, but is he the guy that got into trouble like two weeks before the draft?

This shows how weak the senior class really was.

Gholston was a junior. I believe when this was published, only a handful declared (I have a list of those who didn't on the top.)

Funny how consistently Texas lineman are overrated pre-draft.
