What do you expect? Do you think he will play some CB still getting a tackle or 2 a game? The reports have been glowing so far but does he really have what it takes to play WR?

How was he as an offensive weapon at the U?

think he played mostly CB at Miami. Could be wrong. I think Hester won't be in on most snaps on offense. The bears will likely use him as their WR4. Reports are varying: some are saying he's got velcro hands, some are saying that he has trouble getting jammed at the line and having trouble understanding where he needs to be. Both could be true. I see him coming in for about 7-10 plays on offense and getting a lot of short screen passes. It's a bit unrealistic to expect him to develop into an everydown receiver in his first year at the position.
