Lundy in the playoffs (1 Viewer)

Lundy late season schedule is this:

Week 13: @OAK

Week 14: TEN

Week 15: @NE

Week 16: IND

Week 15 is rough, but other than that you aren't going to find a much better playoff schedule. He's gotten 18-20+ carries each of the last few weeks. I'm thinking he might explode late in the year and thus be a great trade acquisition right now. What do you guys think?

BINGO!! THE sleeper RB late in the season. Got him the week before he blewup.

Personally I think he'll be a late season bust...

a) He's stashed on my roster along with Bush and Tater.

b) He was highly touted by Levin (along with Bush and Tater).

I see a pattern.

I never thought D. Davis was anything exceptional in terms of talent, but I guess I was wrong based on the enormous production drop off. Even stranger considering that Carr is posting very nice numbers.

:goodposting: I just traded for him in my PPR league. The fact that he got 20 carries against the Giants, even though he didn't do much against them, makes it look like they are committed to giving him the ball, even if he struggles.

Lundy is one of those guys that you love or hate -

He probably won't be a stud but it looks as if they are committed to him - with that playoff schedule I see some good potential for him to help teams down the stretch that don't have the luxury of highly ranked RBs. Its all about who gets hot at the right time - for what it will take to get him its worth a shot IMO.

My question is who is going to have the guts to play him???

I would not play him as a RB1 or RB2, maybe RB3. This is of course because I feel that I have better options, but still I would imagine most people would have better options.

Currently have Foster and Willis as my #2 - even if all are healthy I would start Lundy over them for his stretch run of

Really? That seems like putting a lot of faith into the schedule and an unproven talent??? Am I the only way that feels this way?

I'll take a guy who gets 20 carries and catches in an offense that can score vs Foster (will be in a full RBBC by the playoffs IMO) and Willis (who can't buy a TD and will likely be done for the year).

Not me... I love taking shots like this to get the $$ in the end. On two seperate years I picked up QBs that had one or two good games but were players that people gave the usual line on: Fluke performance, can't sustain it, will get hurt, can't rely on them...Those two QBs? Volek and Buerlien While maybe not nearly as prolific, I got the gut feelin Lundy will do the same during that stretch run...
