Lynch (1 Viewer)

Lynch hasn't been spectacular by any means so far this season. But, quietly put up a good game last week, and had runs of 24 and 15 yds called back by holding penalties....so he could have easily went well over 100 yds rushing.

Oakland is a tough place to play and their defense has looked solid lately. It's their pass def that really stands out, so the Hawks may try to pound the rock this week. Add in that Lynch is from Oakland, he looks to be a decent start.

What kind of game do you expect from him this week?

To me its all about opportunity and he carries the load in a decent offense including GL carries...I have him as a great #3 and would not hesitate to plug him in as a #2...I have LT and Mendy so doesnt crack my lineup but if you are weak at RB I would be very confident starting him this week...as stated above he was a few calls away from a monster game.

I expect him to do well, McClain and the Raiders havent exactly been stellar against the run so far.

I just put down some thoughts in the Raiders thread, but I can retype those bit of random opinion here.

I think the Seattle decision makers want to give it to Lynch a lot. When I say a lot, I mean A LOT. Hasselbeck can't get the ball down field accurately. He has completed very few balls of 25+ yards so far this season. However, he has excelled in short yardage situations. I think they want to keep the game manageable with short third down throws. I look for Lynch to get a lot of touches. This is just my opinion. I claim no special knowledge of the situation.

Okung looks to be special. He took care of Julius Peppers like we didn't expect to see, but it appears he will miss another game. That said, Polumbus played well enough when given the chance earlier this season, or at least he also exceeded out expectations.
