I can pick him up off waivers, but I would keep him as a 6th round pick next year. I'm in a 12 team 2 player keeper league. You lose the round that player was drafted in the previous year or as a 6th rounder if he was a free agent.

I've got Westbrook (2nd), D. Williams (6th), D. McNabb (6th), M. Bulger (8th) or M. Turner (13th) as my best keeper options. If I keep 2 guys from the same round one of them moves up a round (5th).

Would you grab Smith in case he takes over in BAL next year ala F. Gore?

If he wasn't always hurt, yeah. This was his chance this year to show he could carry the laod and he got hurt again. They won't trust him to be the starter.

Smith had eye opening pre-season but never built on that even when Jamal wasn't producing in the beginning of the year. As Lod said, he's had injury issues his whole career and this year was more of the same.

Another opinion that he is really a long shot to get a starting job next season. He has been hurt a lot and just has not shown enough. I would think it is pretty unlikely that Musa Smith will be a 1000 yard rusher next season.
