Anyone give "Mad Dogs" a try on Amazon Prime? It's an Amazon Original show with only one episode available so far. 1st episode wasn't too bad.

Except it's a remake of a British show of the same name. Having seen the original and the pilot for this one is practically scene-for-scene.

I was impressed - thought it was better than the original series. The guy who played Joel (Ben Chaplin) played Milo (Billy Zane's character).

The problem with the original is that the 'friends' were too mean to each other and not very likable.

I've watched the first two episodes. I'm liking it but where the hell is this going? It seems more like a really long move than a TV show.

I gave up a few episodes in. The Pilot was really promising, but it got really silly really quickly.

Just finished, and I thought it was pretty good. Entertaining, and several twist throughout the season. Good acting & character development. Some funny parts as well.

I was having flashbacks to Sopranos when Christopher Mortasanti was in hospital.

I never saw the British version, and I'm guessing most Americans didn't that is why Amazon picked it up.
