Malcolm Floyd (1 Viewer)

If Cassel is out again I am playing Floyd no matter what. But I have been hesitant to play Floyd until what I saw last week. I still want Gates to play though.

I'm trying to decide between Austin, Floyd, and Vjax. At the moment I'm leaning Floyd and placing Vjax last among the three

How do you guys feel about keeping prospects for Floyd? I'm fairly certain VJax is on the way out. Thoughts/concerns? I'm weighing him vs Dez as a keeper... don't need advice, just looking for discussion.

I think we start seeing V Jax assume his role as the #1 WR in San Diego a little bit more every week. Floyd will see his status as the #2. Remember V Jax caught a long pass, 37 yards or so, which was called back. San Diego will do whatever they can to give them the best chance of running the table, especially with KC up in the air.

Gates or not, I see V Jax taking over the #1 role with Floyd a solid #2. Just my 2 cents worth.

If you can get confidence that they'll play a full game, either of these guys is a good starter, even when Gates is available - you never know which one will have the big game, if not both/all. I don't think Rivers is going to play favorites at this point, if the guy's open he's getting the ball and I think they'll have a roughly equal number of plays called where they're the first read. The problem is, I don't have a ton of confidence in either one to play a whole game.

Be aware that Floyd is a UFA after this season. I think there is a good chance he'll be back in San Diego, but there is no guarantee.

Started Floyd in Week 14, and starting VJax in Week 15. The following quote just reinforced my thoughts...."San Diego Chargers WR Malcom Floyd (hamstring) was limited in practice Tuesday, Dec. 16, according to Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune."

He was limited in practice last week too, but he still scored 17+ points for me. Granted, this week he has a Thursday game, so I'm nervous. Rolling with him over both Mike Williams (TB and SEA)...unless the practice report continues to look less than rosy.

Floyd has now had 70+ rec yds one game and 50+ rec yds/2 tds in another game while being "limited".

Malcom Floyd (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's matchup with the 49ers.Floyd didn't practice Wednesday after being "limited" Tuesday, which makes us concerned that he's suffered another setback. At this point, he's now become the riskier fantasy play in comparison to Vincent Jackson. Floyd may be headed for a game-time decision. We should have at least one or two more updates on Floyd's potential availability before Thursday's kickoff.

Hmm. Is Vjax also on the injury report? I may have to roll with Austin after all.

Rotoworld) The San Diego Union-Tribune's Kevin Acee said that while Malcom Floyd's hamstring is still tender, him missing some practice time had to do with the short week.

Wow, surprised and I was pretty disappointed my opponent had picked him up a while back as it looked like he was really improving back to his early season form.

So no Gates or Floyd, who does that leave for Chargers WR's?

Tutu?

Naanee?

Anybody have a shot at having a good game here?

Isn't there some guy named Vincent they just started plugging in there?
