as while I expected this, I just traded Anderson and a 08 3rd for Mario Williams.

What do you mean "No"? I wasn't asking if I should make the trade. I did, and am ok with it.I like Anderson, but IMO, Mario is the more complete DE. I'd just like to see projections on Anderson as the starter.Just because a player is drafted ahead of another player, does not correlate to having a better NFL career.RAPTURE

He's a freak. I expect him in the running with Peppers and Taylor for DE 1 in FBG scoring. 40 solos, 15 assists, 14 sacks, 6 FF, 3FR, 5PD, 1 int, and a TD.

I like Mark Anderson and I'd bet on him hitting his ceiling rather than missing it.
But it's not a slam dunk that he'll be a stud as an every down lineman. He played 12-18 snaps a game (a few more at season's end and in garbage time) and most of his sacks came in situations where he had the freshest legs on the field in a situation where he didn't have to concern himself with playing the run. He made less tackles against the run for the season and playoffs (13) than he had sacks (14).
Anderson looked okay as a RDE against the run -- pursued plays well and made tackles when he got his hands on a guy -- but the jury's still out IMO as to whether he can play 50 snaps (or more) and be more than a Dwight Freeney like player.
Again, I'd bet on him to put up a 45 solo, 12 sack type season but won't be shocked if he's a 29-8 guy either. My early April projections had him at 39-9 in anticipation of him being given the bulk of the RDE snaps.
