Mark Clayton down who's the replacement? (1 Viewer)

First off I must say how bad I feel for clayton. The kid was just coming into his own and breaking out this year, a great talent in College, finally coming to the party in the NFL. It is sad that injury had to take him out for the year.

However, it is rather clear that Bradford is a very good passer of the ball and he won't stop. The question is, who is going to take all of Clayton's targets? Robinson and Gibson are most likely available in most leagues, and Amendola is probably already taken in competitive leagues. I think the majority of people have this one right, Amendola is probably the #1 option going forward if you can get him. However, I have been hearing some good things regarding Gibson. Is he worth a flier?

Basically, make the call before this week's game because after this week I have a feeling that 1 of these WRs is going to be the biggest waiver wire darling of the week. The truth is that when you get to this part of the season, you really require something significant to change in order to have a major breakout player. An injury, a trade, etc. Some opportunity has to present itself.

This is the reason why i believe that this is the BIGGEST area of opportunity in fantasy football right now. A major injury has occurred on an above average passing team, and 1 of these WRs is going to turn into another Mark Clayton. Who is it going to be?

My rankings are:

Amendola, Gibson, Robinson and then Gilliard

Amendola is going to go from 10+ targets a game to 15+ the rest will be spread out amongst the others.
I hope you're wrong. Amendola is the #1 pickup, i agree, but I also think that one of the other WRs is going to turn into a stud. There are plenty of targets to go around, and Bradford seems like a guy that finds favorites instead of a guy who spreads it around.

True, but not all targets are alike. The Rams are averaging 5.7 YPA, and have only 6TD's on 203 attempts. Those are horrible numbers. Amendola gets a bump, but unless someone like Robinson comes in and takes basically ALL of Clayton's targets, I don't see anyone else worth owning.

Amendola had 19 targets this past Sunday. He is currently 7th in the league in targets, and 1st in the league in redzone targets.

If for some reason Gilyard is available in a dynasty, grab him.

in a redraft, I'll avoid Rams WRs. Any sign from Onubon?
