marlin jackson at safty? (1 Viewer)

Bob Sanders is a very good safety and he will be the starter at safety when he comes back. Sanders is questionable on the injury report for this week.

It was discussed as early as when he was drafted last year that Marlin Jackson is a good candidate to make the transition from CB to S. He could well start there as early as next season for the Colts.

sanders will supposedly be back soon, but i've been thinking that for a few weeks now...

i expect if/when that happens they would use the hitman & bethea at safety, who they are reportedly quite high on...

Sanders, although often injured is a Pro Bowl safetyBethea has for all practical purposes made Doss expendableWhy would Marlin Jackson start over two very productive players after he switches positions?

Because he is on my waiver wire...

LOL... jackson is potentially a good player, and may have been needed at safety (he played CB & safety well at michigan) if bethea hadn't been unearthed, but colts are reportedly happy with him... he could still have very bright future at CB in IND, in the CB star making cover two, and with less than stellar talents harper & david the starters...your answer (since you were kidding we can joke about it) reminded me of the sufi tail where someone is looking for his keys at night under streetlight... someone else sees him & asks him if he lost his keys under the light... no, but the light is better there... :)

venting:

i am so tired of Bob Sanders. I have had him sporadically over the years in redraft IDP leagus and he has treated me well at times. this year I drafted him in a first year dynasty league and he is just a complete waste of a much needed roster spot for me. daniel bullocks is now back to the bench, and I am stuck with ed reed and sanders. neither are tradeable. if he doesn't get on the field this weekend (but I have said this a few weeks in a row now...) I am dropping him for Bethea.

:wall:

With Bob Sanders being out today for the Week 14 game against the Jags, how do you think Marlin Jackson will do?

Is Jackson a better start than DeAngelo Hall?

Without knowing the scoring system, I'll say yes, Jackson is probably good for more tackles than Hall will be today.
