Marvin Harrison "Stinkers" (1 Viewer)

LHUCKS

Harrison has only three games this year where he scored under 7 fantasy points(non ppr)

Week 8 vs. Denver he was matched up against champ Bailey so he didn't get thrown to.

Week 10 vs. Buffalo, really no excuse here...this was a stinker

Week 12 vs. Philadelphia, the ####### Eagles decided to play the nickle and double team Marvin Harrison for the entire game. The Eagles proceeded to lose as Indy ran it down their throats and Addai had like 200 yards.

So unless Jax picked up Champ Bailey or hired an idiot D-coordinator I think the odds of Marvin having a "stinker" game are pretty slim.

Doesn't matter what the reason is, if he was on the field and didn't put up points it was a stinker.

And 7 points from what is supposed to be your #1 wr is crap. Raise the bar a little.

He's on an offense loaded with weapons. Peyton can't possibly put up 300/3 every game, the rest of the offense has to get throws eventually.

this guy is done. stick a fork in him.
:goodposting: Manning is putting up about a TD a week these days. He and Marvin have both passed their prime. It's sad to watch.
H.K., do you EVER stop fishing?
Not when the numbers support me (I'm a wiz with statistics), and Manning has thrown only 5 TD's in the past four games. :yucky: In the words of the immortal Huey Lewis "Sometimes Bad Is Bad". :X

He's had seven games under ten points. He's had five games with more than ten points. That's not what I want from a #1 wr.

Tread lightly....encouraging me is a bannable offense around here (or at least it should be).

people should be more upset with Boldin and Holt then Harrison. That five game hiatus by Holt put three teams in three seperate leagues I'm in out of the playoffs.

hookManning usually throws for 300 in week 14+15 before taking it easy the final 2 weeks. lineI'd guess Moore and Dungy want that precision before they sit him.sinker

Get out of the stone ages with the basic scoring you play in and step up into HP PPR. Marvin is a stud in that scoring system.

WR's with 5 games or more with less than 10 points in non PPR =

Wayne

Djax

J. Walker

A. Johnson

T. Owens

Ocho Cinco

the WR position is the most inconsistent position in FF...

Not quite. WRs who score a given amount are about as consistent as RBs who score about the same amount--that is, if you look at WRs who scored 150 points on the season, their standard deviation is similar to RBs who scored 150 points on the season. But top RBs score more than top WRs, so they have fewer "less than N point" games.

Still shocking to see how much Indy ran the ball tonight. Also, Harrison looked like he broke his fingers, this could be his last hurrrah. Hopefully nobody needs him in week 16, it will be all Wayne, all the time.

I get that injury every other week playing basketball -- if you watched it it was clearly a Jammed finger minor disolation. He should be fine next week @ houston !

From KFFL.comColts | Harrison suffers hand injury Week 15Mon, 18 Dec 2006 20:07:55 -0800ESPN reports Indianapolis Colts WR Marvin Harrison (hand) suffered a hand injury during the Week 15 game.

A hand injury in which he never came out of the game even at the end ! ! NOWHERE does it say a break or even brings it up ! At worst a dislocation which is same as a jammed finger. He will be fine next week and get 6 - 110 and 1 TD though i agree Wayne should go 150 and 2 .
