I thought he'd have been fired last year if they didn't make the playoffs.

The Bengals have had more run-ins with the law than Duncan Donuts in the last couple of years. Chad Johnson is an endless distraction. This guy has had no control over his team.

The Defensive Guru from an all-world Ravens defense simply cannot put together anything other than one of the league's worst defenses. There's only so much you can do with personnel, but seriously?!

They've only made it to the playoffs once in his tenure. While the distractions, lack of authority in Cincy have to grow weary, Lewis has posted a 42-38 Record. That's actually ABOVE .500 for anyone that's just bad with math. He's only had one losing season in his 5 years as Bengals coach--7-9. He's led the team to 3 8-8 Finishes.

Is he a guy that needs to make the playoffs this year to keep his job? Make a playoff run perhaps? Is he fine regadless?

I'd say he's totally on the hot seat. The owner/GM went behind his back and resigned Henry after Lewis said he'd never play for the bengals again. I think he's going to be fired after this season and I'm really worried about the bengals

How this guy still has a job is beyond me. All three tents are up in the Bengal circus this year. Train wreck of epic proportions. Should be the first in the league to get fired this year. I say week 7.

Never a good sign when your boss makes you reverse field on a situation (chris henry) in a very public manner.
