JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -Jaguars linebacker Mike Peterson was upgraded to probable for Jacksonville's game Monday night against defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh, while receiver Matt Jones was added to the injury report with a sore groin.

Jones didn't practice Saturday and was listed as probable.

``Matt has a little bit of a tight groin, so we rested him today,'' coach Jack Del Rio said. ``He's OK. It's just that it was tight, so we kept him out of practice.''

Five others remained questionable: tight end Marcedes Lewis (ankle), guard Chris Naeole, safety Gerald Sensabaugh (ankle), defensive end Paul Spicer (groin) and defensive tackle Marcus Stroud (ankle).

Naeole hurt his knee in practice Thursday, but tests revealed no damage. Del Rio said Naeole's status will be a game-time decision.

anybody remember the injury that kind of hobbled him during the pre-season? was that a groin injury also? He played a pre-season game after the injury and IIRC that was the game he had that 50+ yard TD

I was watching him closely during the preseason to determine if I should keep him. He had problems with his ankle during the preseason. I don't think it was too serious at the time. Pure speculation - could the tight groin have anything to do with his ankle? I'm not a doctor, don't play one on TV and haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn Express lately. However, I have heard that new injuries are sometimes a result of overcompensating for a previous injury. Probably a dumb question but I expect big things from Jones this year and I'm not too happy that he seems to be accumulating minor injuries. There's enough competition for the ball as it is when he's healthy.

Sounded precautionary and he should be good to go monday night.

That said he's riding the pine in both my leagues I'm in because Ike Taylor is one of the most underrated corners in football.
