NBC's John Madden said during Thursday's Jaguars/Redskins game that WR Matt Jones didn't know the team's plays last season.It's not exactly surprising as there have been whispers about Jones' commitment level for quite some time. Madden got the goods from David Garrard, who told him that Jones was on the right page this season and could emerge as the team's go-to receiver.

Just when I, and many others, have completely written the guy off, some positive "news" comes out to bring some semblance of value back.

Once Williams and Porter start playing again I'd be very surprised to see Jones do anything worthy of significant fantasy notice. Add in Walker and I think there is very little value outside the top guy. And despite Garrard's alleged comment I'm very skeptical Matt Jones can/will leapfrog all those other options by such a large margin the team will be forced to get him the ball.

Williams played last night and was targeted early and often. Scored 1 TD with the starters too. Still waiting on a Porter sighting though.
