this is not getting any coverage. im rooting for him cuz my father and i have been having an argument who we would rather have cano or kemp. were both yankee fans and hes been abusing me the last for yrs for saying id rather have kemp
i hate espn. when all those juiceheads were chasing the hr mark we had a break in every atbat and it was the main story. now i have to search their baseball headlines just to find out how kemp did last night
That homerun he hit last night was ridiculous. 428 feet to right center at Petco - a freaking bomb. I hope the courts force McCourt to sell soon so the Dodgers can lock Kemp up for a while.

Great point actually, I think its just kind of snuck up on them. I like that Kemp is not shying away from the moment but going after it. He's a big day or two away from doing it, but 2 more games in Petco won't help, although that was a crank last night.

Has anyone fallen off the cliff more than this guy? A few years ago (when this thread was started) he's threatening for the triple crown. Now, it's a shock when he manages to get a hit.

shoulder and ankle injuries will do that to a guy. So will not playing every day since they have 4-5 solid to great outfielders in LA.
I do believe he will get back to this level if he isnt sitting every other day and given the chance. Although he will have to get his head on straight and not let a move to LF bother him.
Shoulders are the great mystery. That's still a risky surgery. The good news is, agon had the same surgery and 3 years later has his power back this year. Maybe that's the kind of long Arc needed for kemp
