Very consistent last 4 weeks in my league– 17, 18, 17, 20. And the rest of the schedule looks pretty promising.

Fluke or top 15 QB moving forward?

I agree. He may actually explode towards the end. He is a perfect QB2, especially in keeper or dynasty formats. This guys appears to be the next Carson Palmer or Phillip Rivers type of guy.

Sure hope so.. with a dynasty team poised for a deep playoff run but with Russell as my only QB, I traded away Lofton, a 2009 1st, a 2011 1st, and a 2010 3rd for him...

He's looked great for a rookie QB... jeez.

Lofton? IDP or something? Never heard of him.

Rookie MLB for ATL
Yep... he is a guy I have projected as a top 12-15 LB for dynasty purposes... picked in 2.01 (16 teams) this year for me.

I have not started Ryan once this year, even though my league is a 1 OR 2 QB start league. Just when he gained my confidence, and Rodgers was on a bye, ATL was at PHI and I benched him (for Fitzpatrick). Dumb. Then I benched him again last week for Ginn (really dumb), thinking they would run run run on OAK.

I am starting him this week and hoping he will be even better now that the tough part of the schedule is behind him. Have only watched one complete game (CHI) - but looks/sounds like he has been impressive.

I'd say top 10-12 going forward.

Another plus is he has a very "weather friendly" schedule between now and the end of the season. Every game but one will be played in a dome; the one exception is in SD.

I don't think top 15 is pushing it at all. Consistent production in recent weeks, strong receivers and a very nice schedule.

In a minor  I can't tell you how freaking awesome it is to be fantasy and NFL relevant again.

Carry on.

I actually think he has a great shot of being top 10 going forward. He has been steadily improving almost every week (not only in terms of fantasy production but as an NFL QB). He's averaging nearly 20 points per game over his past 4 games against some very solid defenses and he's been completing 64% of his passes over that span - an amazing number for a rookie QB. He only stands to improve as the season goes on and he faces some more vanilla defenses.

This is definitely an exciting year for Atlanta. A rookie QB having the best rookie season for a QB since 1983, two very exciting young RBs in Turner and Norwood, an explosive WR in Roddy White (not to mention Jenkins finally stepping up), and a very solid and exciting defense (Abraham has been beastly). You have to feel happy for this organization and its fans.

Just trade Ryan away in a dynasty start 2 QB league. Ryan and Flacco for Reggie Bush and Breaston. Just to give you an idea of his value in my league.

In a 2 QB league? Good Lord, how much depth do you have, for cryin' out loud, to unload the two most promising rookies to come out of the draft in a while?I'm not sure I like that deal but I am, admittedly, a very ungood trader.

Funny how things changed once Vick left town.
We got our highest draft pick since 2001? Our coach quit and our GM got fired? We ended a 6 year streak of sellouts?
If Vick were still the QB, White wouldn't have had a 1000 yard season yet, and would be a non-factor. Seriously though, things usually get worse before things turn around. Because of the coach quiting we got a great coaching staff, because of McKay firing, we got a great talent scount in Dmitrioff, which led to Baker, Turner, Ryan, Lofton and some other nice pickups, not to mention some team cancers that were cut or traded. Without Vick leaving we would still be a mediocre team that had no chance of winning a Superbowl, but now a very solid foundation is being built that can lead to a Superbowl in the next decade.

I've got Manning, Palmer, Brady Quinn, Cassell and Culpepper. My RB2 was Jamal Lewis and it is PPR.

I'm excited about this prospects with that schedule. Just traded for him today prior to our deadline (straight up for Torain) to make him part of a QBBC. I was a big supporter of his prior to the draft and felt he was going to be a very good NFL-ready pro, and he has been as advertised and more. Looking forward to rooting for him even more on Sundays. In our league he's been a very consistent 20-24 ppg the past 4 games, and with the confidence he is playing with and the teams on their schedule, I don't see why that would let up now (unless of course he hits the dreaded rookie :wall: )

Bumping to give props to 2008 Rookie of the Year Matt Ryan. Also, the OP should change the title of this post to read "Top 10 Moving Forward?"
