She watches Cuomo too.  Parents were shuked when I referred to him as Fredo, and then once I explained it....just pure silence.  Haha.   Good times.
Lot less Andrew on Chris Cuomo's show, and I wonder who the Fredo is now.

Andrew Cuomo is like a villain out an Ayn Rand novel, really. I was reading a story about how Cynthia Nixon (yes, the actress and would-be progressive politician in NY) had people who were in the know about Cuomo actively helping her old campaign out. My word, that's saying something about both the political machine in NY and about Andrew and his malfeasance.

The takeaway from that? That Cynthia Nixon has become a power player in NY politics. Sad state of affairs, I guess.

Oof. I thought my parents watching MSNBC and CNN was bad. We have Cuomo watchers in the household.
All things considered I think Cuomo is pretty good, so long as the topic d'jour is not race. He's clearly out of his element when his producers demand that be today's subject.

I can't tell whether this is sarcasm or not. If you were holding out hope that PBS was somehow impartial, I've got awful news for you. Perhaps I'm thinking of NPR and confusing them. You mean the PBS News organization that was anchored by Gwen Ifill, right? Because even with their "balanced panel," I was never under the impression they were that special when it came to media bias. To non-corporate reporting, maybe they stood out. But not for bias.

Or am I dreaming? I distinctly remember trying PBS in my twenties and not being at all impressed other than their left/right panel counterbalance for their sort of op-ed people.
It wasn't meant as sarcasm, but it's been so long since I've watched anything on PBS that I'm probably just out of touch.  I'm thinking of NewsHour with Jim Leher, which seemed good at the time, but that was quite a while ago.

I watched him a few times and really never thought much of him either way. Just thought he was OK.   Then I heard him a few times on race and lets be real, Chris is the epitome of white priviledge,  and to hear him try to start talking like he was raised in the hood was comical.
