Maybe when Bill Clinton was impeached, he should have been removed. (1 Viewer)

Clinton did not break any law. He at worst, arguably, suborned perjury in a civil suit and lied under oath in a civil lawsuit. Those were civil matters, no one would have been charged with such things in normal life.
Perjury is a crime.

I still subscribe to George Conway's thoughts on the matter.  It's a question of whether you feel the behavior bringing about the impeachment will be repeated if the president is not removed.  It was incredibly unlikely that Clinton was going to have another affair with a subordinate, or pressure anyone else to lie under oath.  It is highly likely that Trump will continue to abuse the power of the presidency, as well as obstruct congress.
That is a horrible standard to adhere to as it is 100% subjective.

I have to concede you’re right, you are of course, thanks. Good article from back in the day.- But, in an ordinary jurisdiction, with (say) an ordinary businessman, would a DA really seek to prosecute such a man who lied about a prior affair in a sexual harassment suit? Do you think that would practically happen? I’m not being rhetorical, just asking. I’d be surprised I guess but maybe I’m wrong.

I don’t think perjury is prosecuted very often. It wasn’t in Clinton’s case, either. He paid a civil fine and his license to practice law was suspended.

It’s also unlikely that I’ll murder my parents twice

No, but not a REAL crime.  I mean dude was lying about sexual activity with a subordinate,  but he was such a great President it shouldn't matter and I agree with people in here and am super glad he got away with it.
For most of us, sex with a subordinate gets us fired. They weren’t trying to put Clinton in the clink.

Right, which is all impeachment does, it just removes them from office.

Guy got away with doing something that would get 99.9% of us fired. It is basically proof that the rules don't apply to presidents like they do to the rest of us. Everything from all of Trump's illegal actions to Hillary's email snafu, stuff that the most of us would pay dearly for they get away with Scott free essentially.  It is straight up BS and I hope Trump gets removed, just like I wished Clinton had gotten removed.
