MBSL/SSL Week 13 (1 Viewer)

Twilight

Footballguy
The next booting will be in 2 weeks, based on the combined scores for the next 2 weeks. GL.

MBSL - Valence, Fullback Fro, Ruffrodys05 and Red93zj are out(Red almost pulling it out).

PDSL - Rzrback is done.

TLSL - Brown was the Wr to own there. Bass survives. Sinrman is out.

IDP - Out #1 for me this week.

WSL - Duckboy joins me in Out #2.

SSL - Watching Mon nite, I knew I needed a lot by Kasay. Nothing for most of the nite, I was accepting my booting here. Then when Philly went 3 up, I realized 2 FG's by Kasay were VERY possible; 1 to send the game to OT, and 1 to win(assuming they won the toss. That D wasn't stopping s*** in the 2nd half.), which would give me the 11 pts I needed.. Woo Hoo. I was feeling pretty good. Then Delhomme throws that stinking INT. Game Over, and Game Over. Oh well. That's FF.

Joining me in Boot#3 for the week is Rudnicki (Another case of the wrong WRs on the squad), Team Legacy, and Dave Stauff. Which also completes the initial look at next years squads. Look for Bass's Post, which had Rzrback77 go through the effort of connecting the dots and showing who goes where.

GL all

MBSL - Valence(In 1, the league he doesn't have immunity), FullbackFro, and Red93zj are low right now.

Valence has a 44 deficit to make up with LJ Smith and Westbrook. Fro's deficit is only 22, but just Westbrook(-13) to help. Red93zj's deficit is 38, with Steve Smith and Stallworth(-2,0). I doubt anyone will save themselves, but we'll see.

Ruffrody05 is done in 3, but the last 5 are within 34, so that will be a serious catfight.

PDSL - Rzrback77 is low man here. And, short an insane night by Car D (Minimum 27), this one is down to 3.

TLSL - BassNBrew is low man here. Down 14 to Sinrman, it's the battle of PHI WRs. Bass has Brown(-2), Sinrman has Lewis(-4). Bass is most likely done, but we'll see.

IDP - Well, crap. It looks like I'm out here. 44 pts behind the first non-immunity team. Oh well.

WSL - A lot of people seem to lose multiple teams in one week. It's my turn. I'm down in 1, with Duckboy in 2, again being teased by the immunity holder being down with me. Oh well. Both of us are way way low, so were done.

SSL - 3 for 4. Low men are Wolverine, Team Legacy, Me, and Dave Stauff.

Wolverine still has Carter and Stallworth(-8,-8), and is down 2 from Rudnicki. Aaron has Lewis and S Smith(-9,-13). Definitely up for grabs.

Team Legacy is extreme low man, so he's done.

The team just 1 point above me doesn't have immunity this time, but I don't have much left. Kasay(-7) and Moats(-4). But Valence doesn't have anyone, so it's possible.(I need 2 pts, as Valence would get the tiebreaker.)

The 3 non-immunity holders are pretty close, but Dave Stauff is done, so it doesn't matter.

Well, this week has been painful. I think I need a :banned: or 2 :D Until tomorrow.

I am very excited to have survived this far into the competition. It was a substantial improvement over last years MBSL3 squad. Congrats and good luck to all who have survived till next week. I am going to miss the slapfest that is going to ensue. I would love to be a part of it. But alas, I'll just have to wait until next year. Thanks again Twilight!!!!!! (and Bass'n'Brew & all others who help out!)

I'm down 27 with Westbrook to go. I'm not out, unless Scruff has immunity. Does he? TL- Starting to get a complex as this is the 3rd time you've booted me.

Thanks for the hard work and weekly updates Twilight. I enjoyed the PDSL run to the final four. Pretty remarkable season. Went out on a limb and grabbed Dom Davis when all the world thought that Reggie Bush would run him out of town. Then Houston went with Mario and I celebrated my coup, for naught.

Out this week with no TDs from Gore or LJ and poor weeks from most of the WRs and TEs. Still holding out hope for the Panthers Defense, but enjoyed the year regardless.

Thanks to all in PDSL for the draft, the season comments, and the camraderie!

good luck to the remaining survivors - Twlight, Aaron R, and EBF.

Looks like final 4 in only the WSL along with final four in staff v. MB.

Mediocre year.

For all of you who like to  about draft position.
Good call PAEIn MBSL1 - I drafted 13th and went WR/WR (despite some of the naysayers who say this can't be done effectively). The RBBC is still going strong - M. Bell, Henry, MoJoDrew, Norwood and RhodesIn SSL1 - I drafted out of the five hole and erroneously thought I could drive a Caddy to the promised land - out week twoIn WSL1 - I drafted 11th and started with McGahee and Steve Smith - still rolling

For all of you who like to  about draft position. The final 3 in MBSL 2 drafted from the 11, 12, and 15 spots.Props out fellas!
The final 3 in SSL3 : #1 pick & #2 pick, Lt & LJ respectively, and me in the 16 hole!Preds, I too grabbed Gates, with Westy, nice back to back picks at the turn, if ya ask me.

The final 3 in SSL1 are the 1 (LJ), 2 (LT) and me from the 12 spot (Gates).
Yeah I remember everyone trippin out cause you waited on RB. Funny how the same people make it far regardless of thier draft position, and or strategy. Props out Preds!

 Proud to still be standing in MBSL 2. It seems like just yesterday we finished drafting... actually, maybe it *was* now that I think about it... those late Brees and Booker picks seem to be coming in handy!Good luck all!

Yeah, I can't complain about back-to-back-to-back top 3 finishes in SSL1. I waited till the 3rd rd to take a RB (Foster), and he was a bust. It was my late RB value picks that have provided adequate RB production (Barber in the 8th, Rhodes in the 4th). The real key IMO is finding a consistent mix of WR's and QB's and grab a great TE early... the 2 points a catch is too huge to ignore IMO. Then surround that core with a decent mix of RBBC types who have the potential to explode on any given week. Back to the TE position, I've had Gates all 3 years, and now have 3 straight SSL1 top 3 finishes. Granted he was surrounded with a good cast the previous 2 years, but this past year, it's been a mish mash of players doing just enough to keep my head above water. I've no doubt had some luck this year as well to make it this far, but 3 for 3 in the top 3... I'm a happy camper! As for the final 3, I'm a big underdog IMO, but with the 2 week eliminatioons kicking in, who knows, anything can happen!
