MBSL/SSL Week 16 (1 Viewer)

Aaron R survives by 6 pts in MBSL 3, so Shadowfax is eliminated. Duckboy has a 43 pt lead going into next week. But that isn't a surprise. A lot of matches were close yesterday. After the XMas games, not so much. There's only one within 20 (Shadowfax/Ravnzfan - 15 difference). Luckily for most, there shouldn't be many benchings for the final week to rest players with how close everything is in the NFL. GL all, until next week.

Don't really have much to throw in this update, but I wanted to wish everyone a fantastic Christmas, so I figured I'd still do a small one

MBSL3 - This is impressive. They scored 110, 110, and 108 going into tomorrow. Talk about keeping it close. Duckboy's safe still. though, with about a 50 pt lead. But Aaron R and Shadowfax are separated by ONE point right now. Aaron has Stallworth(-3) to go. SF has Miami D(-13). That's a big advantage for Aaron, but we'll have to wait for tomorrow to find out.

Most of the other leagues are very competitive, with scores within 25 or so. For the ones who aren't, LHUCKS has a 57 pt lead over Rzrback in WSL1, while Yudkin is 40 pts down in TLSL. Wraith5 also is down big in MBSL2

That be it, so Merry X-mas all. Until tomorrow

Glad that my crew made the finals, but sorry that they took Christmas off to be with their families. Five WRs with zeros, No TDS for Favre or A Green, and Fast Willie being shut down by the Ravens, jsut a sad day for rzrback77. Miracles do happen and we still have week 17, but barring a miraculous come-back, at least we will have an active WSL message thread filled with LHuck's domination and lively comments.I am in for next year's draft.

 Nice second place finish Razor...we had a respectable field in this one.

Looks like my lack of WRs finally finished me off in MBSL3...that and a poor showing from Gates the last 2 weeks. But I do have to say, it's been a great and surprising run, as I thought this might have been my worst draft in these leagues. Just goes to show anything can happen in these leagues. Good luck to Aaron and Duckboy (but Aaron's going to need a lot more of it). But my work is unfinished here...I need to make up 15 points on Ravnzfan in SSL2.

Thanks again to Twilight for running these. It's been another fun year with everyone.

A good great week from MJD saved me here. No TDs from any WR or TE. Should be intersting to see this week, with me getting only 1 RB score (unless Taylor comes back this week) and ARud getting no TE score (unless Clark plays). Top weekly difference to this point has been 42, so if I get any decent scores, I should hold on, but not counting my chickens yet. gllllll Aaron.

Big props as usual :lmao:

But my work is unfinished here...I need to make up 15 points on Ravnzfan in SSL2.
oh, how I like your chances...consider:my 1 QB(Kitna) vs Palmer

my RB1 (McGahee) vs Balt-D vs LJ

my RB2 (JJ) doesn't get goalline work vs JLew/Pittman

my WR1 Houzy vs Ike B, who has arisen from the ashes

my WR2 Plax had 1 catch last week (1-55-1) vs Galloway w/Rattay chuckin' it now

my TE McMichael vs LJ Smith

you own 5 of the 6 matchups.... :)

go Ravens-D!

LOL at thinking Ike is better than Houshy. And Rattay didn't chuck it very well last week. You're "noonan" won't work here buddy.

:crossesfingers:

Here's how I see things:

QB: sfax > ravnz

RB: sfax >> ravnz

WR: ravnz >> sfax

TE: sfax = ravnz

K: ravnz > sfax

D: ravnz > sfax

I have a good advantage at RB, you have it at WR (f'n Randy Moss...knew I should have went with Wayne). My ad at QB could be cancelled with your ads at K/D, with TE being equal. It should be close. If I can get one or two good games from my WRs, I could be in good shape. Good luck.

every time I open my yap about how I should dominate a matchup, ##### blows up in my face...soooo, we're going contraian here :D I mean, in a PPR league, I lose by 14 when Coles, Wayne and SSmith total 8.6, on a 5-36-0 week...TOTAL!

a combined 11-116-0 week from the 3 of them wins me the game!

anywho...GL, and see you in SSL-I draft this spring!

wraith, you have a lot of ground to make up in MBSL2, my friend.:e: = The Conference of Champions.
Yup... looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines...
 Great Lester Bangs quote in your sig, though. You should get bonus points for that. Well, maybe not... let me think about that...
