MBSL WeeK 5 - Final (1 Viewer)

Lowest scoring week by a decent margin this week.

Through 5 weeks, the average scores (SSL and MBSL are for all 4 leagues):

WSL - 114.09375

PDSL - 117.2875

SSL - 116.49375

MBSL - 116.4375

TLSL - 118.85

IDP - 185.6875

Are the average scores through 5 weeks.

This week:

WSL - 105.53125

PDSL - 106.625

SSL - 102.875

MBSL - 104.4375

TLSL - 108.25

IDP - 168.125

By comparison, Week 2 has been the highest so far...

WSL 122.25

PDSL 124.8125

SSL 123.8125

MBSL 122.9375

TLSL 123.8125

IDP 200.25

The top score in fact this week is only 151. (The highest so far this year is 193)

On to the results...

PDSL - As I said yesterday, Radballs is out. Yudkin takes the top score.

Frank Black has the good luck award so far, as he is the lowest scoring team, but has survived through the first third. Bass is the only Hard Luck team, as he is #7 right now.

IDP - As also expected, Rad got enough to save himself thanx to Adelius Thomas's 11. So IwannabeaCowboy is on the way out here. Valence is safe next week.

This league has gone pretty much according to scoring, as the bottom 4 are all already out, and none of the top 8.

TLSL - Jeff made a good effort, but fell just short. Jeff Pasquino is out. FFWeasel gets immunity.

This one has the biggest hard luck case (Radballs is still #2) and Jeff was #8. But the bottom 2 are out.

SSL - We knew about Playmonkey and Iwannabeacowboy (one of the Bad luck guys of the week with his 2nd boot). Tony Jabrony didn't get close to his needs, so he is gone. And DonnyT33 apparently got o\/\/ned in 4, by getting booted well before his boasts (Didn't read the full thread, just the last couple of posts)

SKA, Rzrback, Family Matters, and Jeter are safe next week.

SSLs are doing pretty good, luck wise, as 11 of the bottom 13 overall are out. Bostonfred is the highest ranked out, but he was just 6th best in SSL 1

, and there are just 1 each out of the top 8 in each of the 4 leagues.

MBSL - Fiddles got a ton of points(enough to climb over 2 people). Family Matters didn't, so he is out. John Doe managed to save himself, so Nightshift didn't luck out for a second week in a row.

Bruno2 got enough points out of Tatum to climb above Coordinator. Ptomaine got damn close, but he didn't. He's out.

In 3, Joffer got the points to survive, sending Abrecher out. It's now pretty close at the bottom, so a good week can keep someone alive for quite a while right now. Duckboy is the early favorite to win it all, as he already has a 40 pt lead, but the upcoming byes could change a lot.

Immunity is held by Radballs, Hear the Footsteps, and Red93zj

I spoke too soon in the TLSL section. MBSL 4, after this week, has now lost the #2 and the #4 (Ptomaine this week) scorers. Ouch. 11 of the bottom 13 are out already, though, so some things aren't quite that surprising.

WSL - No surprises here. Family Matters loses his second team this week. Atomic Punk falls as well, with Frank Black getting what he needed to survive.

I get immunity in 1, with Duckboy taking 2's

WSL is all over the board with luck. FM, out this week, is the unluckiest at the 4th best scorer in 1, while the rest are all over the board. Only 6/10 at the bottom are out

Until next week all, with the 6 byes wreaking havok. I wonder what scores will be like next week with one less game producing points?

PDSL - Radballs is done, since Elam isn't scoring 29+. But he was bottom 4 in scoring, so no surprise

IDP - Same victim, but different chances for it lasting. Radballs is down by only 6 this time, to IwannabeaCowboy, who is done. He also has a kicker who would need to put up an unreasonable amount of points (Stover-10), but he also has Ian Gold or Adalius Thomasto try to get those 6 pts total. (Only one will probably be used. If both are used, he is well over the needed points) As another note, Radballs would also win a tiebreaker with Cowboy, which is why he only needs 6

TLSL - Jeff Pasquino is down big (21) right now, but he has McNair and Rod Smith(-1) still. Sinrman still has the Bal D(-2), so Family Matters is the target, who is done with 95

SSL - Playmonkey, Iwannabeacowboy, Tony Jabroni, and DonnyT33 are at the bottom right now. Playmonkey and Cowboy are done.

TJ still has Heap straight. Fletch has Den D and Walker straight. TJ might as well be done. As for Donny T, he has McNair and a couple of backups to climb over 20 pts. Construx still has Clayton, so JMon348 is the target, 24 up.

MBSL - Family Matters, John Doe, and Ptomaine are the low men here. FM has a couple of players going, as does Fiddles next up, so it's up for grabs.

In 2, JD has Rod Smith(-1). 6 up is Nightshift with Mike Bell(-4), While Rudy at 7 up has 3 players going and Pimpin, also 7 up, also has 3. Somebody in this group is going home, it just depends on who has a bad game.

Ptomaine still has Heap and is down by 6. Bruno2 has Tatum(-7), while Coordinator has Stover(-5) and a 9 pt lead over Ptomaine.

As for 3 Joffer needs 10 pts out of Jamal Lewis and the Den D to survive for one more week of life.

WSL - Family Matters is down here too, as is Frank Black. FM has Bal D (-19). Nope. FB, however still has 3 players going to climb 7 pts to Atomic Punk, who's done. Yep.

Until tomorrow

I knew I was in big trouble in TLSL with no QB. But I could go down in 3 of them? Yikes!
You always have the "Fix" leagues where the "fix" is in... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That's for starting that poll!

still alive in MBSL :)amazing thing is I had no QB this past week! Should stay alive a few more weeks now.
TLSL gonna be tough for you. A LOT on bye week this week for you -- Manning, Rhodes, Wilford, Franks, Wiggins, and Gostkowski. Leaves you with 1 QB, hard spot at RB, no TE, and 1 Kicker...

Well this was a strange week of scoring and not just in the survivor leagues. This probably the single worse week I've ever had in fantasy football. The bye weeks from Cinn and Seattle were the biggest impact to me overall. I knew that might be a problem in some of the survivor leagues but in WSL you never know. 4 of 6 of my WR's were out this week in WSL but you know never know when you're drafting in that format in January/Feb.

Best of luck to those that remain. Sorry I won't be able to defend in MBSL. :wall:

Twilight, thanks for your hard work. You do an outstanding job running these leagues and we all appreciate your efforts.

still alive in MBSL :)

Interesting that in SSL1, both Atomic Punk and I are still alive despite being bottom-eight overall (out of 64). Let's see which of us gets to hang on for another week -- loser gets stuck in SSL3 next year, winner clinches a spot in SSL2 or higher.

In WSL for week 6, I have only 1 WR starting. Driver is on bye, Fitz is injured, Jimmy Smith retired, and Stokley is hurt. This leaves me with starting only T. Williamson. I thought I had solid WR group, and now it will be my demise this weekend. The rest of you in WSL can breathe easy this week!
