McCarthy Speaks on Starks (1 Viewer)

As the article stated I think Starks will see the bulk of the carries against the Lions. The problem is what will McCarthy do with his playcalling and the running game. I won't be surprised to see Starks as the starter next year for the Packers.
 Thanks for sharing your opinion on Starks.

So hard to read Starks value. Basically it s 3 man RBBC. I like Starks but can you risk a playoff game with him.

Starks had an impressive debut, carrying the ball 18 times -- which is also the season high in carries for fellow back Brandon Jackson. The rookie is a good bet to lead the team in carries the rest of the way, but he's not going to be a workhorse, as coach Mike McCarthy has said he'd like to have a three-man rotation with Starks, Jackson and Dmitri Nance. John Kuhn also figures to see some goal-line work. Starks is a must-have in dynasty leagues.

I think my point was there is a whole 7 page thread on Starks.

Then a poster who has little to nothing posted as far as an opinion on Starks bumps this thread (with 2 others on the first 2 or 3 pages of the board already going) and bumps it with icons and still no real opinion on him.As far as chilling out...seems a few of you need to do so...as usual, I am remaining quite calm and civil despite the posting of a few of you.
He did post an opinion on him. Get off your high horse and start contributing football talk.
He posted on line at the time...that from 3 different threads.and I have been contributing quite a bit in both threads...yet still responding to the same old crap.

Do you care to contribute at all?
I take that as a no. You don't care to.Thanks.

What is your problem? He did contribute. Good God, sho...you are pathetic.

Agreed. I don't think that Grant will be with the Packers next year and Thompson will add another RB through the draft.
It would be great if they can find a true 3rd down back that is more explosive that Jackson.

Yawn...you simply are not worth the effort anymore. Thanks for again stooping to that level and showing you simply cannot post in a civil manner.
 You are crying like a school girl about people not contributing to this thread when they actually are and that is pathetic.Since I'm not worth the effort I assume you won't reply to me anymore! Thank God!

I think McCarthy wants a rotation but Nance hasn't shown much and Jackson just isn't an everydown back. I think Starks will get the majority of carries the remainder of the season with Jackson and Kuhn seeing some.

Even on ignore you ruin every single Packer thread. Never have I encountered anyone so enamored of their own voice. it's not others, its you. Even when correct you are not right. You are unwelcome, like a bloodsucker on the scrotum.
Thanks to someone who ignores me yet feels the need to bash.Is it me? Do you seriously think me posting my opinion ruins these threads?Or is it the constant sniping my way that I respond to that does it?EDIT: No, I am not completely innocent in all of this...but I think its obvious to anyone who steps back and is honest that there are several people on this board who will bash me no matter what I say. My problem is being dumb enough to keep responding to these type of people.
Sho,Much of the time it's the other posters and not you that cause all the clutter and crap in a Packer topic. In this case you brought all of this on yourself. Instead of complaining about an old bumped thread why not just ignore it?

By no means is this guy the definite answer. It's one game. One average game from a running back. I'm hoping the guy continues to produce and improve, but I'm not holding my breath thinking the Packers have found the answer to their running woes because of an 18 car 73 yd performance. It looked like an improvement, but let's all calm down just a bit on the excitement and see if the kid can continue to produce.

I think my first complaint was legit. I asked a simple question of what was the point of those bumps.I don't think they served any purpose. But yes, I should ignore most of it and I will try to keep the responses to such sniping off the board.I will let them snipe but handle it without cluttering up topics.

 As Packer fans we haven't had much to be excited about from the running game. Hopefully he can build on last week and have a good game against the Lions.

If the Pack gets the lead on the Lions (likely), then Starks should get lots of carries, unless he stumbles, in which case clearly McCarthy will swich

If the Pack has to throw, then Brandon Jackson will see action if only for he is the sure thing on blocking/blitz pick up

Kuhn/Nance/Hall will get short yardage. My bet is Kuhn will get the first shot because of his performance against the niners and that Nance is still not cleared on his concussion.

And all packer fans said "AMEN"I would love to see Starks become the real deal
