McKinnon value (1 Viewer)

I am getting values for McKinnon all over the place. Some love his landing spot and others think he will be a low-end rb2. Do you know if the trade target is a McKinnon or 49ers fan?

Is this Mckinnon +1.11 for 1.06 + 1.08?  If so I think it is heavy on the picks side.

If you wanted to include an extra pick I would say start by offering a second, but you may need to come up to something closer to 1.12 to 1.15.

Player wise I think a wr after the top 25/30.

I'm taking the 1.6 and 1.8

Some love his landing spot and others think he will be a low-end rb2 -- . He landed in a great spot and as such he is a low-end rb2.

Way too Tevon Coleman-esque for 2018. Ive owned him the last two years (and currently) and he is NOT a lead back. After 10 carries he is at 2.5 and 2.6 yards per carry the last two years. And he is twice as bad in opponents territory as he is on his half of the field.

Breida at 4.4 while Hyde was 3.9. While in Minny Cook was at 4.8, Murray at 3.9 and McKinnon at 3.8. He was less then Murray. And the Minny coaches chose to use Murray more then Jerick in the regular season and the post season. McKinnon is a role player that fit Shanahan and the 49ers perfectly for what they needed.

And Joe Williams looked good running the ball, if he figured how to handle the passing stuff in a passable fashion, he will be utilized.

We're in a PPR keep 3 + 1 rookie and I have McKinnon. No one eligible in the first 3 rounds are eligible and the only offer I've received for JK is an early 5th round pick.

I agree he should be a low-end rb2, but I am seeing those who expect much much more from him. I think the trade targets leaning on value can really sway a trade like this. It's the off-season, values can get a little wacky.

I would also take the 1.06 and 1.08, but what would you add to the mckinnon side of the equation to acquire the 1.06 and 1.08? Being a mckinnon owner I am curious what your answer is.
As I said above I think McKinnon for just 1 of those picks is fair.

A: whatever is the cost to move from the 1.11 to the 1.07avg is probably a safe bet. Be that a 2nd or a 3rd. Or a 2nd while getting a 3rd in return.

I can see paying pick 5 (though I wouldnt).  Probably pick 7 or so.  If they draft one of the good RBs then a 2nd rounder

Thanks all. I probably overvalue McKinnon, having owned him since his rookie year. As with all trades, my goals are pretty subjective. I'd been targeting a rookie who I suspect will go between 1.6-1.12, and looking for ways to better my 1.11 at lowest possible cost. The McKinnon landing spot has opened another avenue, but I too am drunk on the koolaid and hesitate to trade what could be RB2 for a rookie who may/not pan out. If forced, I'd probably rank McKinnon>1.6>1.8>1.11. After Barkley/Guice there's no one I see as a slam dunk, and my current rookie rankings blur the value from 1.8-1.11. Appreciate the thoughts.

Upsale him and get what you want as Shanahan recently was quoted as saying "McKinnon is the starter." and also "in the Freeman role".

In the same discussion the reporter asked about his intentions of having Tevin Coleman be the starter when he drafted him, and Shanahan agreed that had been his plan and that sometimes plans get changed.

I have McKinnon in a couple of dynasty leagues and I would trade him for 1.09ish pick. So the trade in the OP has him valued at around 1.03.

If I was trading McKinnon I would do this deal in a second, if I was buying McKinnon I would offer 1.08 and 2.08 for him or something close to that.
