McNabb owners, 2 weeks in how you doing? (1 Viewer)

Are you in the playoffs? What are you doing going forward? How has McNabb's replacement done for you?

Im headed to the playoffs but I think McNabb injury will end up costing me a title. Yeah the rest of my team is solid but McNabb was the kind of guy who I could count in week in week out for solid 20 pt production and McNabb was also the kind of guy who can carry me to a victory if the rest of my team disappoints. I thought I would be solid with his replacement with Philip Rivers but he has combined for 18 pts since replacing McNabb. There's not much on my WW so Im stuck with Rivers. But like I said it will most likely end up costing me.

Same thing here...I'm in the playoffs but McNabb made me head and shoulders above the rest. I picked up Favre off waivers and have been using him the past 2 weeks but he too has totaled 18 pts.

I have Kitna on the bench but haven't used him yet.

Trent Green is still available so I put in a waiver request and may just go with him if it gets processed.

Agree with you on McNabb - he was a guy who could win you weeks for sure.

That week was suck for me - I had Colston, Kevin Jones and McNabb go down in the span of 15 mins.

Went from having a superstar team to not caring about the week and really feeling bad for McNabb = he is a real class act.

Guy in my league dropped Vick for Garcia five minutes after he is carted off, so I picked him up off waivers.

Vick did good for me today, but I am always going to wonder how great of a season McNabb would have had if he hadn't gotten hurt. Does anyone know how he got hurt anyway? On the play he ran to the sidelines, when did he get hit on that play?

Had McNabb on all 3 of my 1st place teams. The league where we start 2, I'm nervous. I have Kitna, Carr, Brooks, and Griese to choose from now. There were absolutely NO QB's to pick up in a 12 team start 2 QB league.

12 team start 2... my team has fallen down. I was in first but not by a huge margin, and my other QBs are worthless. I have gradkowski, loseman, frye, garcia, and harrington. :ukes in mouth::

PS: the reason my squad is quite so bad is becauae I counted on Brooks to be my QB2... WHOOPS

I've got Vick in one and will be in the playoffs, but I lost Colston at the same time, (sucks seeing two of your top scorers get carted off the field within a few minutes of each other.) The highest scoring team (LT) in the league will be my opponent in round 1, either as the wildcard and #4 seed or as the division winner and #1 seed.

I'm committed to starting Jason Campbell in the other league because I had no back up. I pick 12 on the waiver wire and all but Campbell, B Johnson, B Gradkowski and A Brooks were taken. This team is #1 seed and points leader with both LT and SA in the backfield so I feel pretty good about my chances.

2-0 since, played some bad teams. In a 14 team start 2 league, and can only carry 2. I am hurting going into the playoffs with Frye (who is probably out now) and Brooks. Stranger things have happened though, hope to pickup a waiver wire gem this week. Sure I am!!!

I have David Garrard. Lost last week by 2 points. Won this week. The team who has the final playoff spot is losing right now. He is down by 11 with a LB to go. If he loses, I'll get the final spot

McNabb owner here in a dynasty. I am having to play Garcia or Rex Grossman :X . I won last week but will lose this week unless Garcia can score about 50 for me tonight.

Nothing on the WW to choose from. I have the #1 team in scoring and am in first place in my division. I have been riding LT and McNabb for the entire year but now it looks like I will exit the playoffs rather quickly.

I think I've limped into the playoffs. Tonight might push someone ahead of me, I haven't worked out all the scenarios.

I expect to be one and done in the playoffs though. I have to rely on Losman.

So far 2-0 starting Frye last week (thanks SA) and Kitna this week. I'll probably go with Kitna in 1st game as he plays GB (barring blizzard). If I made it to championship I was thinking B Johnson who will then play GB - but after yesterday that's kinda scary.

2-0 without McNabb and made it into the playoffs. Last week was Frye who stunk and this week was Vince Young who was money. Only 2 QBs on my roster are Young and Cutler. Young plays the Jags in week 15 and I am not happy about it. Broncos play Cardinals, but need to something a little bit better than what Cutler did last night before I start him in my playoffs. Not much else on the WW...Garcia, Brooks, Losman...

I picked up Young, Cutler and Green. I will be doing a QBBC. Worked well for me this week. After my bye this week I will just have to wait and see. Young and Green had great week this week. I feel better now that Green had a good week.

I lost the game that Donovan got hurt in, but I am 2-0 in the last two weeks with Bulger as my QB.

Will probably bench Bulger (Chicago)this week in favor of Vince Young (Texans) though.

traded javon for hasselbeck after the injury. but i'm finally being rewarded for hanging onto cedric houston all season so i feel like i'm breaking even at my flex (colston and smitty are my WRs - javon was always my flex). i was a juggernaut before mcnabb went down. now i'm a top 4 team in a 14 team non PPR redraft. need a little luck in the playoffs.

Lost McNabb the week after the trading deadline with no starting QBs on our WW (keeper league) - was stuck with Harrington and Losman - but Joey has done well enough to keep me afloat and sneak into the playoffs - I am looking like a one and out though unless he gets really hot!
