After reading the Spider-man: Homecoming thread, I was wondering which Post Credit Scene people liked the most.

I don't remember many of them, but I remember it being cool when Samuel L. Jackson popped up with his eye patch at the end of Iron Man, so I'd go with that.

Wasn't there one that showed Ben Kingsley getting abducted by a group that claims to represent the real Mandarin?

In lieu of that....Baby Groot is the most iconic one.  It's the best.

The first was the best. You had just finished watching the best super hero adaptation you've ever seen, and then this scene that promises that something much bigger and more awesome is coming down the pike. It was great.

I know some are 'mid-credit,' some are 'post-credit.' 'Post-credit' seems to be the one term that covers both.

??? - some were taken from other movies (future movies) but when the movie they were in was released, the second movie wasn't out yet. (i.e. the one in the first CA, it was a scene from The Avengers, but CA was 2011, and Avengers was 2012.) In the list of the scenes, they are described as 'cut-down scenes.'

You're thinking of the Marvel One Shots. They were DVD extras rather than end credit scenes.

I thought that was one of the cooler "vignettes" they did.  Wonder if they have any plans for that.  Several of the Iron Man fans I know hated that swerve with Kingsley in IM3.  They wanted a legit Mandarin.

Many people did. They sort of hinted at him showing up at some point from the first movie with the Ten Rings group that kidnapped Tony. And then they got Trevor Slattery instead. That would be like Thanos turning out to just be a hologram used by Howard the Duck to distract them while he makes off with all the ducks on Earth.
