Add another 1st round receiver to the mix. He'll go after Ginn, Johnson, and Jarrett but should be selected before Samardizja and Rice.

Postives: Catches EVERYTHING that comes his way. Excellent body control and use of body position to get open. Impossible to catch in the open field. Good size that makes it hard for smallish corners to bring him down on their own.

Negatives: More fast then quick. Failed to meet expectations until this year. Has't learned to use his natural strength to get through the bump at the LOS.

Theres plenty of examples of this not being true, but you need look no further than the Penn State bowl game for a good one. Hes got decent hands, but he dropped plenty this year. He really could stand to come back this year. Hes a 4.4-4.5 guy with good size, but with a great Sr. year could really end up a very high pick next year, while hes likely a late 1st early 2nd type now.

I agree the Penn State game was not his best performance. However, against Cal and (more impressively) a very good LSU secondary, he was everywhere catching everything.

I agree hes an impressive WR, and he had some impressive games, but despite the stats in the Cal game, I didnt think Meachem was that impressive. Two of his TDs were basically catching a 1 yard pass with his back to the CB, having the CB leap over him, and Meachem running 80 yards. The LSU game was  :lmao: :lmao: though.

I've seen him play a few times and he kind of reminds me of Boldin with his size and speed. Do you guys think that is a favorable comparison? If not, who do you think he compares to?

That's where I have him slotted at present.

Agree with Colin, faster(and smaller) than Boldin. Boldin is a 4.6 guy, Meachem was a 4.4 guy when he came to UT.
