Megyn Kelly (1 Viewer)

Her undegrad was at Syracuse, her law degeee was from Albany. Not that Albany is anywhere near Harvard, but still she has a J.D. which is a lot more than other women news people have.
Rachel Maddow was a Rhodes Scholar from Stanford who received her Doctor in Philosophy from Oxford. Still going with Megyn as the smartest woman journalist on TV?
I don't find Rachel's views all that compelling, but she is intelligent. I would put Megyn above Rachel, but that is probably because Rachel is much more unbalanced in her views than Megyn. I don't find people who don't acknowledge other viewponts all that intelligent.
Maddow is pretty smart. Instead of arguing that Kelly is smarter than Maddow, I would have argued that Maddow doesn't count as a "news person" since she's more of a commentator than a reporter or anchor.
Considering the fact that Fox distorts news stories, I have a hard time calling Kelly a true anchor.
And you think Rachel Maddow doesn't distort the facts to support her far left ideology? Come on. This thread is a joke. Megan Kelly is hot. I didn't know that we're judging if a news anchor is hot by what side of the aisle she's on. Guess Megan Kelly is ugly since she leans right (and she isn't that far to the right).

News aside, she is not hot, in the past she was. But if we didn't take into account current actual, hotness Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson would still be considered hot.

She looked smokin' hot during the whole pepper spray shenanigans; although that happened a month or so ago, I can't imagine that hotness dissipated that quickly.

No, I do think she presents her subject matter with a left leaning bias. No question. But I was also countering the point that Maddow doesn't count as a news person by suggesting Fox News isn't exactly 'news' either. Kelly is about as fair and balanced as Ann Coulter.

I would lick pepper spray off Megyn any day of the week. I've eaten hotter, unfortunately I am not talking about Megyn. :kicksrock:

this is starting to remind me of the famous Cubd8 thread about that Weather Channel chick from the old yeller board. We just need more pathological stalker and undying lustiness

So everyone with a JD is smart?
Name 5 women in news broadcasting smarter than Megyn.
Diane Sawyer = WellesleyKatie Couric = UVARachel Maddow = StanfordThat's 3....
Couric is borderline ######ed, but she does let people put stuff in her butt. Advantage- Couric.

Am I the only one who thinks a UVA education is impressive? That's one of the hardest state schools to get into in the country. What am I missing here?

I have no idea about the school, but Couric comes across as a vapid twit. GW was an Ivy Leaguer.

I love it when she does one of those concern trolling pieces her masters have put her on and she makes that face like someone farted really bad.

Was going to say Christiane Amanpour and Rachel Maddow without even knowing where they were educated.

Also, this Erin Burnett chick seems pretty sharp.

Wait, what?

Wait.. this is the chick from the Fox GOP debate with the crazy bugged out eyes?!

:lmao:

I'd never seen her before that. I was yelling at my wife to come to the TV and check out this anorexic caffeinated freak asking questions. She was on some kind of speed.

Basically all you need to know about this termagant:
Last night on Fox News, anchor Megyn Kelly joined Bill O'Reilly to assess just how much the protesters at UC Davis deserved to get pepper-sprayed while staging a nonviolent protest last week. "First of all, pepper spray — that just burns your eyes, right?" O'Reilly asks Kelly, the legal (and apparently chemical) expert. "It's like a derivative of actual pepper," she responds. "It's a food product, essentially."
   To the right wing, she's a hero because she mocked protestors who were being assaulted by police. Those of us with hearts and compassion view it differently. She is a modern day version of Marie Antoinette with her "Let them eat cake" rhetoric.

Heard about that one. Sounds like she's another Hasslebeck.

Partial list of chicks I would like to bang (in no particular order):

Megyn Kelly

Elizabeth Hasslebeck

Marie Antoinette

Did you actually watch the whole segment? Or do you just perfer the snippets which get the play in the left-wing blogs. She actually spends most of the time defending the Occupiers and attacking the police side of the story. Unlike how any of the other journalists mentioned in this thread treated tea-partiers. If you would bother to watch the whole thing, you might actually see what fair and balanced coverage means.

Fixed. In the end we are all Americans, this could have been a tea party protester or an OWS protester and the reaction SHOULD have been the same either way instead we have media personalities mocking them, and fanning the flames.

I put peppers hotter than what is in pepper spray on my food. Goat peppers in conch salad is very good. And Ghost peppers in Chili. Both rate well over 1,000,000 on the Scoville scale and are hotter than pepper spray. They bring tears to your eyes, but it is what it is.

I was going to post the same thing. The "food product, essentially" line was goofy; but on the whole, she was the voice of reason in that segment.

You ever put those in your eyes? Give it a try and report back.

Did tea-partiers get beaten and assaulted with pepper spray?Yeah, I watched the whole thing. Anybody sitting next to Bill O'Riely is going to sound reasonable by comparison, but you can't take away what she said about it being a food product. That was pretty dumb.

She gave a factual answer to a question. She then went on to say that was not important. She then went on to question the police side of the story. She concluded that we need more facts before jumping to conclusions.

It was a point she quickly acknowledge was irrelevant. It would have been a dumber point had it not been factually accurate.

As with many gaffes, what matters is the thought behind the statement. We know politicians and newscasters are usually reading from a script or staying within boundaries. When they say something puzzling like that, it reveals what they are truly thinking.

You think it is scripted? Sure the topic to be discussed is scripted, but for the most part it is ad lib.

She truly may be the dumbest chick on TV. I mean borderline corky stuff here. She takes Fox news talking points and even gets those twisted. She is only on the show for two reasons, so the others can laugh at her and because she is hot.
