Not seeing this anywhere. This has got to be insider info if the local radio guy is the only one who has it.

 
fwiw....there is also a little blurb on there about WAS releasing Parker.....wonder if PIT would bring him back...........

This move would be wise, but I'm not sure if BAL will let him go to PIT. If true about Mendenhall, I expect PIT to sign someone. I don't think they will roll with Mewelde Moore and Jonathan Dwyer. There is definitely an opportunity available for someone, if they take the ball and run with it (no pun intended). :moneybag:

I like to call Mewelde Moore "The Producer."

Whether he was in Minnesota or Pittsburgh, on those rare moments when they needed him to start, he always produced.

Just don't know if Pitt will go with Moore or Redman this time, but I'm scooping up Moore every chance I get.

 
Hasn't Redman looked pretty good this preseason? I can't see Moore or Dwyer getting the start over him, but a RBBC seems possible

 
Chris Mack at ESPN 1250 says this report is BS and that Mendenhall was absolutely fine when he left the South Side practice facility today.

 
Brutal. Keeper draft tonight, keepers locked yesterday, and the Mendenhall owner just saw this on twitter. Our message board is exploding with rage.

I don't know what Pitt does here, if it is true. Moore filled in nicely for Parker back in 2008, but I'm not sure there'll be a definitive starter. Dwyer was superb at GT, but he's looked terrible as an NFL player so far.

Conflicting reports. Needed someone to verify. Where are the real reporters at, dang it.

you all can stop with Dwyer's name. He's going to be cut.

Mendnehall's backup would be a platoon of Redman and Moore, if I had to guess.

Didn't this happen with Clinton Portis four/five years back? Someone called into local radio to report a weightlifting injury that would keep him out 6-8 weeks, turned out the caller just wanted to screw over some guy in his fantasy league since they were drafting that night?
