I'm gonna be serious for a minute here. I often wonder whether my nonsense is something that people enjoy or if they are annoyed by it. A lot of times I'll post some wisecrack, then worry someone might think there's meaning behind the comment (sometimes they have thought so and let me know, and it's made me really learn the value of theGreat list there... I'd go Couch Potato, just for the sheer comedy he brings..

Or I'll post a dopey "Hit TO, hit TO, hit TO" song, or whatever, right in the middle of a thread where people are having a serious discussion, and wonder if I'm bothering folks by distracting from what they are focused on (especially when I do it in a Dodds announcement post ). I really hope I'm not bothering anyone. And, since I post more nonsense than sense, I also wonder if people who aren't in leagues with me think I'm just a buffoon and not someone who knows his stuff.I'm gratified that I've had some positive comments in this thread regarding the sense of humor aspect. Anyway this thread is such BS..I will cut this shirt since I just said this all and lost it and am about to hit the hay. This is nothing more than a bunch of inner circle clickies patting each other on the back. Not seeing my name here means its total BS. How many members are here? I bet there are better players who dont post nearly as much as these guys do. If this is about the better posters or who posts the most then pardon me. But I would like to challange anyone of these guys listed above into a real way of determining who is better than who. High Stakes FF. I have played in every type of league out here but only spend most of my time on high stakes leagues which really tell who is better than who. I would be wiling to get into as high a stakes leagues as we can get 12-16 guys into.
Five Hundred would work fine but if its more or less that's Ok too but their has to be at least three figures of cash per team on the line. Enough patting yourself on the backs and trying to let the clicks here run the show again. I bet every one of these guys has already been picked for something like this around here? If I had my way none of these guys should be allowed in let some new blood have their chance at taking on the mods and owners. I just know this i can hang with anyone here and anyone anywhere in a league that really matters to me. So please until some us play each other with something on the line lets realize that this thread is purely a popularity contest. I dont make the best posts or threads maybe but i do win high stakes FF leagues almost every year. IMO thats what counts more than anything else in the hobby.
So the challenge is on anyone of these guys in a cash league with 12-16 teams the more the better and tougher, with also more winnings. I would like it to be a redraft style league with a serpentine draft and total points and H2H both helping determine the playoffs and overall winners. Thats' how most of us play FF. Let me know I will be hoping that this will happen then we can start to know who is better than who around here for real.

FACT...in the last 4 years, I've started 10--14 team dynasty leagues...DonnyT is not an owner in 1 of them
FACT...in the same time, I've drafted in MB survivor and private redraft and dynasty(besides Misfit dynasty) leagues on 6 or 7 occasions...DonnyT did not draft in any of those leagues, either
FACT...I've never been selected to MB squad for the previous Challanges
so DonnyT, please excuse me if I have exactly no basis with which to determine how you as a FF player 'measure up', due to our never having played in a league together, therefore never drafted against each other
I run 10 dynasty leagues...I've recently joined another w/FBG's&Staff, and will be involved in 2 private redrafts w/some folks from around here...add my $$$ local redraft, and it's obvious I'm serious about this game
I don't have time to start another project...
...but if you have the stones to back your claim of being better than everyone mentioned, go ahead and start up a league
make it a grand to get in, winner-take-all....

Donny, I would venture a guess that I've known(or known of) you and Raidernation 7 years if not a year or two longer. I wouldn't have minded you as an alternate. It really is very hard to pick 12 as my beginning list was like 40 and as I got rolling I thought "oh yeah what about soandso" and even made it longer. I wound up choosing 12 and feeling like I slighted 28-38 more. Sincerely, nothing personal bro

It is very hard to chose 12 and not feel like you've left a valuable player out. Can't be done from my perspective.
So you start thinking about how the different strategies compliment one another when 12 make a team. You don't 12 of the same type players or they cannibalize one another before the staff does.

Usually, when someone is bashing a "clique" it's because he's jealous he's not part of it... and, when you think of it, he doesn't deserve to part of it...
I've been hooked to this site for 5 months now - had posted in a gazillion of threads at two other sites before... but none show the amount of information you can draw here, especially for [DYNASTY] format - not even close... just think of Bloom's top100 rookie for dynasty purposes - marvellous
So, enjoy the ride... gather what applies to your leagues (especially if they are big money like yours!)... and cheer for the MB squad...
I just can't think of only 12 names... and my opinion would obvisouly be biased by the members that posted alot recently, since I'm quite the newbie... so, I will pass on the request from the thread...

I have played in every type of league out here but only spend most of my time on high stakes leagues which really tell who is better than who. I would be wiling to get into as high a stakes leagues as we can get 12-16 guys into.
Five Hundred would work fine but if its more or less that's Ok too but their has to be at least three figures of cash per team on the line. Enough patting yourself on the backs and trying to let the clicks here run the show again. I bet every one of these guys has already been picked for something like this around here? If I had my way none of these guys should be allowed in let some new blood have their chance at taking on the mods and owners. I just know this i can hang with anyone here and anyone anywhere in a league that really matters to me. So please until some us play each other with something on the line lets realize that this thread is purely a popularity contest. I dont make the best posts or threads maybe but i do win high stakes FF leagues almost every year. IMO thats what counts more than anything else in the hobby.

I would like it to be a redraft style league with a serpentine draft and total points and H2H both helping determine the playoffs and overall winners. Thats' how most of us play FF. Let me know I will be hoping that this will happen then we can start to know who is better than who around here for real.
Please guys don't take this the wrong way i know most of you guys are good at the hobby and very good at making threads and posts. I also like most all you guys too. But not to see my name here and knowing that it would not be because i never played with you guys or am not liked as much as these others makes me laugh really. Please dont give me no crap about the weird new format league i got into last year when If you lost a stud or two you were all done. I lost my better players early and often which gave me no chance to keep up. That was simply a battle of who's best players stayed the most healthy the longest. No trading no pick ups no line ups etc etc..
Lets play in a real league with something on the line and see what happens then start up some threads like this again. At that point it will actually mean something...later
On top of all this there are names on this list and in this thread that I am 100% sure are no where near as good as I am. Not even in the same league. Enough said.
