I just noticed on my Directv guide that the Thursday NFL opener is delayed until 8 o'clock pm on the west coast.

I #*%# my drawers in disbelief. I hope this is a scheduling mishap. Can anyone else testify to this madness on their systems? This would simply be a major blunder for NBC to start things off in my books.

Don't have direct TV..but at the direct tv site the guide states 5:30pm ..think your receiving is messed up!

I have Directv..NFL Kickoff Special starts at 8 pm. Eastern Time Game at 8:30 pm EST on NBC

It's called the Sunday ticket for a reason. They can't show any games on the ticket that are not played on Sunday. If they are played before Sunday, they can show them as a replay on Sunday, but that's about it.

Looking at it again..you have it set to read at 8pm pst..most likly..what your seeing is the last half hour of the start of 5:30pm pst game time

It will be on your regular NBC station at 5:30. When it is a nationally televised game on ESPN or NBC the Sunday ticket doesn't cover it. However, you should have these stations anyways so it is all good.

I know it should be on at 5:30 pst however my guide on the local channel NBC off my directv dish says an 8 pm start. Thanks for the assurances I'm sure hope it will be on at the 5:30 appointed start time.
