***Miami at Arizona -6 (49) (1 Viewer)

Today is a really special day and one if you don't pause for a second you might not appreciate just how big this game is. Miami actually has a lot to lose, they are in the thick of the wildcard race and 2nd in their Division at the moment. Trailing the Bills by 1 game and Buffalo looking like they might be able to win vs Seattle so Miami needs to keep pace.

The Arizona Cardinals have done a lot in a short period of time. They started Murray last year and took their lumps, this year they are challenging for the NFC West and they just beat Seattle who is with them atop the Division so they obviously want to win badly today.

I set that up because both teams have a lot to play for and that usually makes for some good football. Young QBs, up and coming defenses, winning games nobody thought they would at such an early phase of both teams rebuilding process and finding success.

How about the match up of Coach Kingsbury vs Coach Flores who is ascending in the NFL ranks.

Bit delirious and forgot to mention Ogbah and Shaq Lawson

What a great designed blitz where Miami flushes in up the middle and then backs out and flushes him to the DEs

Great play in the red zone, not sure exactly what I saw and that's what I think it was a great play, fake then throw it to the same guy

When you put pressure on Murray, you need to to contain him.

Good that the game is not at Hard Rock. Winds are 29mph with higher gusts and constant rain. It's related to Eta.

I said Tua should not be taking the field weeks ago and wrote time and time again that it should have had a ground swell effort like he was just blowing Fitz away in practice and we never heard any of that...they tried to push out some cell phone clips but that was a farce.

This kid needs a lot of work and seasoning and I just don't see how you can allow a Defense that is playing at this level to go out there and get left behind by this kid just because management was dumb enough to Draft him at #5.

If he sucks, we can get a new QB in the draft. As many as 4-5 may be drafted in  the first round next year. But, we need to know in 2020.

Howard scores TD

Pretty impressive drive, Tua looked better when he was rolling out and hitting his TEs, think he had targets to ALL 3 Miami carries.

Nice job Phins

Preston Williams on the TD pass, 4th of the Season, Miami will go back up 21-14 pending the XP

Williams barreled into the end zone

Williams hobbling to the sidelines, uh oh

Interesting how Coach KK does not call timeout to save 30 whole seconds for his wonderboy at QB...

2:30 they get the ball back with 2 timeouts and the 2 minute warning.

KK opted for 2:00 and 2 timeouts, Miami will Punt after 2:00 warning now.

I think that's a big decision and even if Arizona does score, it seems woefully not the right call in a 21-17 game that has seen mostly scoring drives and not a lot of punts.

Edit to add, Kirk loses 7 yds on the Punt Return, AZ takes over around the 20 with 1:50 left, they blew roughly 40 seconds, could run 2-3 plays in that time.

@Ministry of Pain
you really are being hard on Tua.  He's doing a lot of things I'm liking.  Are there rookie mistakes?  Yes.  But he's showing some of the reason why he's the 5th overall pick out there.

*ignore the formatting my phone is crap

He has led a couple drives and will get the ball with about 45 seconds left.

He has also been careless and almost had an interception on a throwaway and his throw into the shoe of his OL, not sure he understands how the NFL Rules work exactly.

They still not opening up the offense yet for Tua - lot of quick release slants.

Like that he’s real shifty in the pocket & protects the ball.

Overthrew a certain TD pass but mostly throwing darts.

First time in a long time I’m excited to watch Dolphin football every Sunday.

I've spent most of the season listening to nyg and nyj fans trying to convince me their inept qbs are worth salvaging "if they just had a better team" (paraphrased).  I'll take a guy who has actual skill who can be yelled at on Monday while watching film to iron out the kinks.
