**Miami at Cincinnati** (-4) (49) Bengals in All White on Prime Thursday Night (1 Viewer)

The Miami Dolphins have a pretty lengthy/noteworthy injury report with Howard, Tua, Waddle as the main headliners - do you think all of them suit-up tonight?

I think this will be a fun game to watch, but with my bold prediction there it is cursed and will end with a 13-10 final. Pulling for the Phins here MOP. I've been a pretty staunch advocate for the Tua Tagovailoa '22 Tour because I've just always liked the kid.

These Thursday games are generally offensive clunkers. I have Tua but I'm afraid to play him do to short week and injury. If I sit him I'm left with Russell Wilson or Fields, oof.

A lot of factors working towards Bengals favor in this one: (as a Bengals fan i'm scared).

-Perfect let down spot for Dolphins after a 3-0 spot.
-Dolphins defense was on the field for 86ish plays against the Bills in scorching heat on Sunday.
-Short turnaround for both teams, but Bengals didn't have a grueling game like the Dolphins did vs Bills.
-White out in the stadium tonight, Bengals wearing their white helmets/white unis - looking sharp btw - Fans are going to be hyped
-A lot of injuries for the Dolphins, question marks with Tua, Waddle, Howard, Jackson. DJ Reader-DT injury for Bengals is a big one however, I expect them to be able to run it.
-Dolphins having to leave Miami early due to hurricane, practicing at University of Cincinnati since Tuesday.
-Leaked videos of Dolphins practice at the University of Cincinnati - not sure what will come of this.

With all this in mind, I like Bengals 31 Dolphins 14.

Miami has little to no pass rush. 4th worst in the NFL when you total up Hits, Pressures + Sacks.

Burrow will have loads of time even behind a weak OL, he'll pick Miami apart. Josh Allen torched them for 400 yards.

Draining division win in sweltering heat on Sunday for Miami. Compared to Cincy getting right against the Jets in a pretty easy one. Ebb and flow tells me Cincy wins by double digits. Can't see Miami getting their legs under them in only 4 days. If it was Sunday, I'd lean Miami.

Cincy 34
Miami 20
I posted Cinci 27...Miami 17 in the exploit/avoid thread and I'll stick with that even though I will be rooting hard for Miami. This week would be a very surprising win when you factor in the Ravens/Bills B2B Sundays, 3 days rest @ Cinci, 3rd game in 11 days?
They must be exhausted

I think these are 2 pretty evenly matched teams, but man, Cincinnati is a terrible matchup for Miami. I just can't see them being able to cover the Bengals WRs or slowing down the Bengals pass rush.

I think this stat is misleading when you think about the last 2 QBs they faced.

Not expecting a win, but then again didn't expect one these last 2 weeks either. Can the bengals slow the Miami speed merchants and does the dolphin D have anything left in the tank?

Plus a short week. Miami's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th CBs are 2 UDFAs (Needham, Kahdou) and a 7th rounder (Crossen). The Bengals WRs are deeper than the Bills WRs.

CIN 31 - MIA 24.

I'm thinking the same. About to lay the points and go with the over.

This one is pretty good as well, Super Bowl under his belt
Agreed, but not as elusive.

Did [not Melissa Stark] just refer to the fans as “the dog pound”?

She knows this is cinci, and not Cleveland, right? :oldunsure:

This panel isn’t great. (Not)Melissa is still adorable, but one analyst & 4 NFL players lacks a little balance.
