**Miami at Cincinnati** (-4) (49) Bengals in All White on Prime Thursday Night (1 Viewer)

I want to apologize to @ignatiusjreilly , I'm sorry if I was attacking you yesterday. I just couldn't believe the set of circumstances that led us to a dude play 4 days after a concussion TBI 'back/ankle injury' and having.. THAT happen.
All good, GB. I wasn't sure exactly what you were saying, but I didn't view it as an attack. And that video was definitely interesting, so thanks for posting it.
Also want to correct myself for saying Tua was in a fencing position. He could have also been doing that, but the action he was displaying is called posturing, hopefully decorticate posturing. Again, that is no effing joke and part of the reason I lost my mind.
My understanding (to be fair, based mostly on this Twitter thread by a doctor I've never heard of) is that it's actually the opposite. Tua was fencing, which is, relatively speaking, a good thing, because it reflects a temporary response as a result of a concussion. If he were posturing, that would indicate a much more serious brain injury, and he likely would be in a coma right now

The Dolphins have a very good defense, a decent tuning game, awesome receivers, and a veteran QB in Bridgewater for as long as Tua is injured. They may lose tonight (tough on the road) but they should continue to win games.
The problem for Miami here is Hill is a big play receiver, but Bridgewater is a dink and dunk passer. Miami could do worse, but it’s not ideal.
That's always been my impression as well, but I thought Teddy's deep balls last night looked not bad, maybe even better than Tua's (who often seems to underthrow them)

Maybe he doesn’t have the zip on the deep passes.

I can see some changes to the concussion protocol, like missing the next gene, or mandatory 7 days off, something.

The problem with that is that every concussion is different. Some people are fine to play the next week. Others take multiple weeks to recover.

But overall, I agree that they should be constantly re-evaluating the protocol to ensure maximum safety
