Miami at Washington (1 Viewer)

Redskins FG is good. Decent drive, lots of quick hitting plays. Dolphins D-line had little chance to tee off. Morris is so good.

 
Desean Jackson open for a bomb, Cousins just misses him, Jackson holds hamstring, Morris runs for 6 yards.

 
Cousins overthrows Jackson deep. Jackson grabs his hamstring after the play. Comes off the field. On his back on the sideline looking to be in pain.

 
Matt Jones isn't Alfred Morris. He left yards on the field that Morris would have gained on 2 consecutive plays.

 
Garcon getting some love. They forgot about him much of last year. Dolphins are stacking the middle now to stop runs.

 
Chris Thompson fumbles, luckily after the whistle.

Going for it on 4th down with Morris in the game. Gruden calls timeout. This will either be a FG or a pass.

And missing it. Way to kill a drive, Gruden. Would have been much better to give it to Morris and go for it. Gruden acts like it's shameful to run near the goalline or on 3rd or 4th and short.

If the Dolphins score here this will be a turning point in the game, which Washington has dominated so far.

 
Garcon with another 1st down, negated due to pushing off. Now it's 3rd and a mile.

And there's that Cousins INT we've been waiting form.

 
There it is. Cousins picked by Grimes on third and long deep in Washington territory. Grimes couldn't stay in bounds or it would have been a pick six.

 
Tannehill overthrows a wide open Sims so badly in the end zone that Sims seems to have injured himself laying out for the ball.

 
Dolphins not even trying to establish the run in early downs. No Miller on 3rd down, pass to Williams. Then Williams fails on 4th and 1.

 
Nice tackle by Goldson. Dolphins going on 4th down, and stuffed. Last year the Skins folded at times like these.

 
Tannehill throws it behind Williams in the flat, slowing him just enough to get him tackled short of the first down. Miami goes for it on 4th and short and Williams is stuffed. Some atrocious quarterbacking so far today.

 
Garcon open again.

After the Cousins INT Gruden has gone back to Morris running and quick passing. Less trust in Cousins and in "genius" playcalling. Just stick to the basics Jay.

Not enough room in the cap to keep him with the Tannehill renewal as well as Vernon and Miller up next year.

Schefter tweeted earlier today that Clay has been battling knee injuries and had his knee drained at least 6 times last year with Miami. Perhaps that played a role.

 
Great tackle by Rashad Jones. That would have been a big play.

1st down grab by Reed on the next play.

Runs and quick passes are working for Washington.
