Miami/South Florida: 10-12 owner league for a live draft (1 Viewer)

Another league I want to get off the ground is a local redraft league where everyone can get together live. Be it a Sun, Wed, Fri, I just want 10-12 owners that actually enjoy getting together, scarfing down some wings and draft beer and having a good time drafting.

I am looking at Ricky's which has terrific wings and a great back room, it's located in Pembroke Pines, I live in Miami but will try and find a central location, South broward is a good starting point. Ricky's is running half price entire bar right now...I drank 4 newcastles the other day and paid less than $8, that's pretty cheap.

League dues will probably be around $50 so we don't scare off anyone, right now it's me and another buddy who lives down here. I can probably rustle up about 4-5 owners without the board's help but it's hard to find local leagues for live drafting. I play in plenty of internet leagues, really want to develop a local league.

Looking for folks that aren't totally dependent on DD for drafting too. Would like to get a board with the color stickers to keep track etc...

Scoring will be fairly simple, probably a progressive PPR and 6 pts all scores. We can tweak it. Where are all the Heat fans, haha.

When you looking to have this draft MOP? I might be interested if I'm in Miami for one of my leagues that has a live draft every year. That's going to be around 7th or 8th of September.
