This is first offense right? He shouldn't see any suspension time..

DWI, DUI... what is an OWI?... Operating While Intoxicated?
Obnoxious While Intoxicated?Obvious While Intoxicated?Opinionated While Intoxicated?Overzealous While Intoxicated?Overbearing While Intoxicated?Ogling While Intoxicated? (who among us isn't guilty of that?)

This is new for some cities now , where I live they call them OVI (operating vehical while intoxicated), I think they call it that because now in alot of states laws are changing with what they can charge you with. For example here in Cleveland they can charge you for operating a boat under the influence, also, i'm sure if they saw you riding a bicycle clearly while drunk that they could charge you with that also...times are changing for sure.

4:30am is not a good time to be driving while blasted. There is nobody on the road and you are like a duck on the pond.

If he hit someone and killed him, according to you Guru, it would be the person walkings fault. This is pathetic, and I wish the penalty for this was so much harsher, as only ignorant people drive while intoxicated.

In what way is that fishing?
Well, maybe because Guru didn't actually say what you are inferring - that if a pedestrian is struck by someone who is drinking and driving, then automatically and in every instance it is the fault of the person who is walking (not the person who is drinking and driving). You mischaracterized what he said in another thread and then tried to get some mileage out of it here.
