I've seen Alex smith, p Willis, Vernon Davis, Josh Morgan, David baas, iupati, goldson and more talk about crabtree and say things such as "I like him" "he is one cool cat" "that's my man/boy" "he is a great teammate". I see this stuff locally, there are in depth shows on the niners locally that is only showed locally. I have zero doubt he is extremely loved by his teammates, even Vernon Davis. This stuff happens.

What does my knowlege about the niners have anything to do with the above quotes?My knowlege about the 49ers can be debated (I'd like to think I know quite a bit about every NFL team), but in this instance all I need to know has been trumpeted by every news media accross the nation. Besides, all you have to do is use logic in this case. You saying that you don't think it's football related is silly. The situation happened mid practice and it's been widely documented that Crabtree has been dogging it in practice. If you don't believe that then you have not been reading your own journalists. Also, Singletary said that Davis was doing the right thing the wrong way. He didn't say that, he said he did the right thing but the wrong way. Your point is accurate though, if the coach said he did the right thing then it was somehow football related.
